Was up early today and wanted donuts. So I decided to make the trek from Mansfield to Shelby to try out this bakery. I'm glad I did.
I ordered a Boston Creme donut and an app chai scone. The donut was really good. It was heavy, thick, and chewy. The custard inside was delicious and the chocolate icing was perfect.
However, the apple chai scone stole the show. What a delicious treat first thing in the morning. It had a strong chai flavor and apple chunks throughout. The pastry itself was rich and moist, and yet fluffy. Brilliant flavor and perfect texture.
Loved everything and will be back.

Great coffee to go with our wonderful mini pumpkin bundt cake. Very moist & just the right amount of pumpkin flavor. Great icing. Sweet atmosphere. We were greeted by a friendly employee. Also took some iced Halloween cookies home. Yum yum!

At a bakery you get baked goods but in the case of this place, the ladies are serving up baked greats. Why do I say that? Because it doesn't matter what you get, it's all great stuff. Keep it up ladies.

I finally had a chance to stop in. And I will definitely be back. The blueberry scone was so very good also the cowboy cookie and the peanut butter chocolate cookie.
The staff was very nice and pleasant to chat with and serves with a smile. Apologized for the near empty display case. Which to me is a sign of just how good their bake goods are.. and that I need to get there earlier next time.
