Ordered country fried steak and it came on a bun with miracle whip I thought it be the traditional country fried steak with gravy on it and it was awful my strawberry shortcake the strawberries looked old waterlogged pink in color and the shortcake was a biscuit with no cool whip I don’t recommend I had a crew of guys we see their for lunch and we all hated it . Beware!

Food was okay. Husband’s cheesburger was good. My tenderloin sandwich was a bit dry still, even with ordering cheese and extra mayonnaise. It may have been better had I ordered lettuce and tomato. Luckily I ordered coleslaw so I slap some on my tenderloin ! lol Otherwise, the taste of food was good.. We made a 45 minute drive here. We arrived 15 to 20 minutes before the dining area closed which we were not aware of before we left home. It just stated that they were open until 9. We didn’t know the inside closed at 8. So luckily, we made it just in time, but they were sure to make us aware and tried to get us to change our mind about eating in because they were trying to close. Before we ordered our food, they said just to let you know our dining room closes in 15 minutes. You still want to order it for here? That’s the only thing that made this experience, upsetting and uncomfortable. I explained to her that yes we,drove a long way just to eat here. I had to assure them that we would try to hurry and eat quickly. I just wish we were not rushed and made to feel uncomfortable and unwelcomed because they were worried about locking their doors. I hated being watched just to see if we were finished and leaving yet. we most likely will return here to try it again at an earlier time since we know that the dining area closes at 8 pm. I just hope it’s a better experience next trip because it seems to be a pretty cool place. We noticed the outside drive thru staying pretty busy the time we were there. Staff seemed like a bunch of younger kids but food was made quick.

The eggs, toast, and sausage gravy were spot on fantastic! The country fried steak and hash browns were frozen patties. The coffee was good but a bit watered down. The service and speed made the meal much nicer. Next time, I'll go for lunch or dinner.

Think very old school McDonald's, but with flavor and not as expensive.
Service, depending on who is there, some are nice, and others are not toast is always soggy. Always you have to get extra home fries. Otherwise, you might get 5, maybe ten you ask for extra jelly they give you 1 or 2
There’s a reason Clancy’s was voted best breakfast in town for over 10 years. Israel Gregg sounds like he might have a personal vendetta against the establishment. I love the atmosphere and the food. Clancy’s breakfast is my favorite!

Well if you hate yourself and enjoy a really bad meal, come to Clancy's. Where no one gives a damn. All the food is cheap and processed. And everything is made hours ahead of time.
