That old crusty manager lady changing people a dollar for a extra scoop of rice should be fired I’m not going to come back because of how petty she wants to be over some rice

I was in today’s establishment and overheard in the corner. I don’t think anybody noticed that I was there but there was a young gentleman in there, and after the woman who walked out, I approached him and he said he was the active general manager, not gonna list his name for employment purposes, but he had served me my bowl, which was beyond amazing and was super generous also, the next person who came and had nothing but good to say about him and says that’s the reason why they come in regularly to this hot head to see somebody get yelled at like that I don’t understand what he had did wrong and could tell he was flustered afterwards To the gentleman who made my food, you were beyond professional, I thank you and hope that your day gets better

This was my first time ever eating there and when we went there was no one there so if was very quit and peaceful and the worker was awesome !!
John and his staff were super kind to me and are very nice

I like Hot Head, I really do but this place has gotten bad the last few years. Placed an online order. And showed up about 8 minutes late to pick the order. Employee with beard and glasses tells me it’s not ready, and I’ve heard this excuse multiple times here.“whew… boy you should have seen this place 3 minutes ago. we were slammed!” This is at 8pm no dining customers, and one other customer in there ordering. The reason I’m writing this is because this guy then proceeds to complain to the only other customer how much he hates online orders, doesn’t understand why people order online, and how he wishes it would go away. And loudly. I order online because I get off work late and like the convenience of not waiting in line. I’ve never written a review before and probably never will again. Total unprofessional joke. Only reason I rated 2 stars is because the food is always good.

My issue with this place is portion control. My wife literally received 1/3 more food just because of the different employees. Why? I left there wanting to go to Culver's to finish eating. Second time it's happened in a week. If it was only $6 I'd be cool with it. But it's close to $12. Just be consistent. It'll be a while before I come back. The little blonde lady is exceptional. The dude with the binocular glasses, not so much.
