The lamb here is amazing! And that onion side dish (no idea on name) is fabulous.Go try their food. It’s not a fast food restaurant so don’t expect to be in and out of there in 10 min like McDonald’s.

It was our pit stop on our way to Kentucky, we found this place in Yelp and wanted to give it a go after reading the reviews and we were not disappointed at all!! The food was amazing, well presented, generous portions and very tasteful. The ladies working there are super nice and polite, they made us feel quite welcomed. We did have to wait a while for our food to be cooked but it was soooo worth it!! We are planning to stop by on our way back home.

This place is an absolute gem, we’re so glad we found it! We always search for the best places on our travels and this did not disappoint. Everything was so flavorful, authentic and fresh and the owners were so kind. Sene Grill is officially on our list of places to stop whenever we go through Ohio! Highly recommend!!

I've been wanting to check this (very!!) hidden gem out for a while now, and while I wasn't exactly in the area, I was a lot closer (north of Troy on I-75) so I decided to check it out. As usual, especially when I'm trying something COMPLETELY new, I checked out the menu ahead of time, to see what they offer, and to (attempt to) narrow my choice/s down from "too many" to "that seems SOMEWHAT reasonable!!" Everything on the menu sounded delicious, and I'm sure it is, but I was disappointed to discover upon my arrival (after STRUGGLING a bit with my poor, confused GPS) that more than half of their delicious-sounding, TEMPTING offers have big a big NO written over them on their wall menu. I understand that this is happening all over the place, but still hard finding some of the most tempting choices no longer available... From the remaining choices, I went for a appetizer of fataya, which was a LARGE order of three delicious meat pies and a wonderfully flavorful mix of chicken, veggies and rice which I cannot remember the name, also a large, generous portion. The wait was not long at all, and the smells coming from the kitchen were amazing. I planned to stay and eat there, but since it appears they mostly serve a "to go" crowd, when they brought my dinner out all packaged up, I just brought it home, where it was just as good (and still a bit warm!!) I had two days worth of leftovers, and for less than $20.00, I was left with a new appreciation of Senegalese food, a real craving to come back SOON and sample more of what (hopefully) will be back on their menu, and a deeeeeeelicious smelling car!!

Never had this type of food before. I'm very glad i gave it a try! It was so good!! I got the j*** chicken and egg rolls. Both were amazing but j*** sauce is pretty spicy. I suggest getting it on the side if you're not a huge spice person. Egg roll spice was next level, id get 2 cups next time ?

They have really weird wontons !!!! They are good , but only ordered from them 1 time ( I worked 2 doors down at the smoke shop ) once was enough for me , they do have weird food on their menu , try it if you must , like I said the wontons are good !

Rating and menu variety after an afternoon show at nearby Historic Sidney Theater . There is no surprise why this restaurant is so highly rated. The food is impeccable - and prepared to order. The service is friendly and knowledgeable - our server / cook checked with us on how spicy we wanted the sauce and delivered our starter personally. What we ordered: For 3 (hungry) diners - we ordered the egg roll starter (5 egg rolls, filled with chicken, vegetables, and rice and fried perfectly); and 2 entrees. Our 2 entrees: Grilled Lamb (served with one side, we chose plantains) and J*** Chicken (served with rice, plantains, and beans). The grilled lamb can be chosen as chicken or lamb and is a perfect amount for sharing. The j*** chicken was sized more appropriately for 1 - but we shared that as well. Our selections were the perfect amount of food and everything was perfectly seasoned and cooked. We chose the egg roll starter as a recommendation from the restaurant and man - was she right. Crispy and perfectly fried - it was a nice starter. While we waited for our food, several people stopped in for their take-out orders. The dining area has a handful of tables but the majority of their business seems to be carry-out. Whatever works for you, works - for us, we live 30 minutes away so dining in was ideal and it was a great experience! Tips: 1) Be patient. This food is quality and prepared to order. This takes additional time. I promise you - it's worth it. If you are seeking fast and did not have time to call ahead to place your order, consider another venue. 2) Plan to have enough time so you can eat here.
