Tucked away on a corner, this coffee shop has a super cozy and quaint vibe! The space is clean, and there’s plenty of seating, perfect for studying or reading. All the baristas were incredibly sweet and welcoming. They also offer good milk alternative options.
That said, all drinks are served in disposable cups with plastic utensils, which felt a bit disappointing. The coffee was slightly overpriced for the quality, and the beans didn’t seem very fresh. The smoothie also tasted a bit off and overly artificial.
On a positive note, the London Fog latte was really good. Overall, a lovely atmosphere and great service, with some room for improvement in drink quality and sustainability.

Such a cute coffee shop. Workers are always friendly and helpful whenever I’ve gone in. Really nostalgic and cozy. Very clean and just a great, all-around atmosphere.🤍
I spent the morning at this lovely coffee shop in this small town. I brought my laptop and stayed for hours. It appears the outside is set up for a lot of seating in the over months (I came in the winter). When you first enter you might think it’s a gift shop that serves coffee. Random, local items are for sale. I would use that space for more seating. In the second room off the entry room is seating, but only for 20 or so. There is a nice electric fireplace. They have an assortment of coffee choices and food options. Their baked goods are especially good. The breakfast sandwiches are microwaved so skip those. The “cold brew” is simply iced coffee, not a true cold brew. All in all this is an incredible coffee shop for this tiny town. Make sure you stop and enjoy a specialty drink.

I have passed this place several times while passing through Smithville. I finally had a minute to stop. Unironically, that minute was after I dropped off the young man who has been living with us at the career center for his next step to becoming an independent adult. I have been feeling so frustrated lately like every step we take has a huge road block. I parked, walked in, and was immediately met with the chorus of How Great Is Our God. In that moment, I knew that despite any frustrations, God’s got this all handled. I know, seems a bit crazy for a simple little coffee shop, but God is working here!
This coffee shop converted from an old gas station is absolutely worth any drive from anywhere. First let me set the visual, the outside is stunning with a floral arrangement that can go toe to toe with any posh cotswald garden. A paradise to set in while you sip your espresso. You will not miss with the stunning floral street view. You are greeted with some really selections and amazing order and staging area where you can find stunningly crafted coffee cups worth every cent. Their are also amazing living edge tables for sale. I ordered a spinach and cheese Danish and it was delightful. I also got what the call egg bites and those were perfect. Think of a crustless quiche. I also got 3 shots of espresso with vanilla and cream. All around scrumdiddlyumptious. Make the trip here it is worth the travel. The folks working were super nice and really laid back place. Just go here, you will not regret.

Just dropping in to leave a long over due awesome review for an amazing coffee shop!!! Never have I been to a better one. (And we have tried so many hole in the wall coffee shops)
My family has been frequenting this beautiful little coffee shop since it opened up, almost on a daily basis! So many precious memories made in this place. 💜The owners meticulously care for the building (which has an amazing history) and the breathtaking gardens surrounding the shop. They work right alongside their baristas !
Thankyou so much for all you and the baristas do to make Carpenters Cup the best there is!

I ordered the maple latte. It was delicious. The service was good. They said the only flavor they didn't have was peppermint and I'm glad because that flavor is disgusting! This place is certainly living the dream! I'll be back!
