The South Bloomfield location removed the BYOB (build your own box) for $6.99. The other local Taco Bell’s have kept it.
This means you spend more money to now get stale crunchy tacos instead of a chalupa or burrito. I’ll take the extra time to NOT go to this location anymore and get shafted. I’ve encountered issues in my orders here but at least it *was* cheap before.

Just doordashed me some food and the food was still hot and tasty, I usually come to this location at night and it never disappoints!! Thanks moe😁
We stopped at 1030a and there was no wait to order. They did have us pull around to get our food. The cashier STACY was great and went above and beyond by letting us know where in the bag the customized items were VS the non customized ones so there was no guessing who's food was what. The wait time had to be no longer than 5 minutes and every item we ordered was LOADED.

Taco Bell is known for its friendly and hardworking staff, although they can sometimes be understaffed. Customers appreciate the effort the employees put in, even during busy times. The service is top-notch, with employees going above and beyond to make the experience enjoyable. However, there can be minor issues like missing items or long wait times due to the lack of staff. Customers drive over 8 miles to this location because of the cleanliness, fast and friendly service, and overall positive atmosphere. The crew at this location is fantastic and Champs, especially those working between the hours of about 8-9pm on Thursday August 7th, 2025. They were understaffed, pummeled with orders, and while the food did take a while, the staff and management kept their cool, they were kind, courteous, and apologetic. The team is seen and appreciated for being the ones to show up and shouldered both the work and the criticism with grace, maturity, and professionalism. The family's dinner was delicious. Overall, Taco Bell is a place where you can expect a good laugh and a decent meal, despite some occasional hiccups.
