“Authentic Mediterranean food, very fresh ingredients and a good amount of vegetarian options. One of the best restaurant food options in Springfield. My only gripe is they insist on using a Mexican tortilla (why?) for their falafel sandwiches, while the others come on pita. When I asked for pita for the falafel, I was told it wasn’t possible. Otherwise the platters/bowls are very good.

Edit for 2026: they don’t do that anymore, and it’s been great every time I’ve returned. The fish dinner, wings, shawarma and other things family have all tried were a hit too. Check it out!”

“My husband and I had a few minutes wait. While waiting we noticed a young girl busting tables. She was working so hard , never skipping a beat. Other tables (customers) were asking for things she of course stopped to help them with a smile on her face and got right back to work. We later learned her name was Lydia. I did let the owner know what a wonderful job she did. I know sometimes credit needs to be given and tonight was it. Great job Lydia. You have a wonderful work ethic. Keep it up! Meadows food was amazing like always along with our drinks and waitress too.”

“I was recently on a road trip to Arizona from Massachusetts and we stopped for gas up the road before stumbling upon this great place. we got pizza's and a sandwich , the pizza was delicious and the sandwich looked great also (sandwich was my mothers lunch). all in all this place was really good id recommend it. esp if you're on the road and want something better then the gas station grub, the staff was really nice ,the girl that took our order was very welcoming. if i ever head back that way id stop back in for more pizza.”

“Recently our group of eight went to Springfield Frisch's, E Main st. Service was excellent and the food was fantastic. Most of us had fish sandwiches, onion rings and hot fudge cake. We will definitely be back for more. Good job, Frisch's E. Main crew!”

“Literally the most flavorful tacos ive had. I travel all over the tri-state for my job and I love trying different tacos. I even forgot to tell them I wanted flour tortillas but they grill their corn tortillas and gave it that Lil extra. Very good. I highly recommend. Theres no reason this place should be dead right now.”

“The chicken and biscuits from Raise the Roost inside the 7-Eleven on Newtown Road and Providence are, by far, the worst I've ever had. The chicken was either overcooked and dry, with burnt outsides and —likely due to improper fryer temperatures or incorrect timer settings. The coating was thick and cakey, indicating poor preparation. Even the green beans had no seasoning or taste. I recommend not using salt if you decide to season. To top it off, the bathrooms were in horrible and smelly condition. I would've returned the food if I had time. Thumbs down! I took pictures but you cannot upload”

“Me and Hubby stopped in for lunch and they were putting up a Christmas tree and were great in spirit.The atmosphere was very joyful and the service was excellent.We ordered 2 New York strip/ shrimp meals with chilled Peach Sake and meal was cooked to order ( hibachi style at their grill that you can clearly see.Awesome chef.Sake was very Refreshing and steak was super tender and shrimp was large and big/ meaty 🍤.Great portions.I would definitely recommend to friends and family.”

“Seems to be an above average location which seems to be in line with past experiences for franchises located in Love's truck/traveler stops. Staff was friendly and the restaurant area was clean. Only critique is the pricing which for Subway mediocre food quality is bit high compared to other chain sub eateries. Location is close by to the Springfield Fairgrounds and several large antique malls which is convenient for those visiting.”

“Subway has extended its menu with an array of tasty sandwiches and wraps. The turkey wrap with peppercorn sauce and avocado with bacon was a first-time experience. It was delicious and I will visit soon to try another new sandwich. Subway has not lost its touch. An easy 5 stars for me.”
