Arrived at the restaurant at 1250pm ordered the egg roll lunch received it at 125pm.. so no more 10 minutes than after heading to work and eating I noticed some of the meat I. My rice wasn’t done.. immediately I called and they said no refund they would replace my meal.. the next day I returned it and she only replaced the rice.. didn’t care how she inconvenienced me , I came from maple hts stop there and was headed to work, the lady is very rude and for a customer like me that’s been going to this location for years, they just lost a customer and im telling everyone else I know not to go also.

Order a eggroll dinner and the meat was raw in the rice. Then when I called and told them they said no refund and didn’t wanna make it again . I’m calling the Heath department asap !

I really like the care they put into the food here. The flavours are tasty and the vegetables are crisp. The portions are generous. The house mustard is ?!Even though they are always out of chopsticks, I return because their food is so good.Parking: There is a big parking lot out front, so I've never had a problem finding a space.

Just so bad. All the meat, including the pork in the fried rice, and the chicken in the sesame chicken is so tough. I couldn't even bite through the chicken to try and break up the huge pieces. I needed a knife, and then it was so unappetizing being so tough that I just threw it out.The restaurant is dirty as well. How hard is it to vacuum the floors and corners every once in a while? Won't be back.

I was not greeted upon entering the restaurant. After deciding what I wanted, I was charged a $5 up charge for what should have only been a $3 up charge. The cashier refused to make the adjustment. This will be my last visit to this restaurant.

I ordered the crab Rangoon and shrimp with vegetables and white sauce. Going home is always a treat and China gate never ever disappoints! Apparently word is getting around the Cleveland area about just how good they are and how well they prepare their food. Customer Service leaves a lot to be desired however it is worth a good food. And I think the lady is crabby only because she's overworked, they are extremely popular! The other dish we ordered was sweet-and-sour chicken and it was just again well prepared beautifully cooked, and hot. This restaurant is takeout only however they used to have a location that was sit down. If you want good Chinese food, China gate in University Heights is your ticket! This was my first time here. And I forgot to take pictures because I was so hungry.

This woman that waits on the customers is the nastiest person ever met. She is so disrespectful to the African American community why do we still give this establishment our money. I will never buy anything from this business until they respect people in our community. Money talks! Stop giving China Gate our money show them the impact of our dollars!
