I've been going to China Gate for Sesame Chicken for decades and I'm always so pleased with it. My favorite place to get it. The lady at the front is always so pleasant and they always get my order right. My experience at China Gate is always great.
Very average to below for chicken egg foo young combo. Rice was overcooked and egg foo young was decent and fresh but a little salty. Egg roll was a bit soggy not crisp. Good portion and nicely packaged for takeout. Service was kinda slow because the woman at the checkout was too busy taking phone orders and chatting while the line grew longer. Sure, we all long for the day Cedar Center was really CC and the China Gate was a real restaurant. But the second coming CC take out place the food is still pretty good and their fried rice is to die for. And the “woman” in front is always nice to me!
