Im not sure if it was a bad day or what, but it was dead in there and the server mostly sat on her phone instead of checking in. We also felt as if we were bothering her when we asked for things. Food was over priced but overall the taste was good. Better service is needed considering a 18% tip is mandatory.

Okay! Disappointed honestly. Of course, reviews are helpful and can be misleading.
1. FOOD. For sure, it's not worth the $$. If you cannot cook RICE!! Just serve wings & fries at this point.
2. Drinks over priced. You may as well go yo Captial Grille or an actual expensive ass restaurant.

Walking in, Grill 55 appears comfortable and inviting. Yet my companion and I did not realize it was strictly a ethnic establishment (not welcoming to people outside of the category) until we received the cold shoulder from the server. She didn't even look at us as she barely spoke to us. Fly in my water, flavorless old soul rolls, and old slimy salad lettuces PLUS an automatically imposed 18% gratuity, which was not earned. Shameful and shabby.

Went here on date night with the Babes and we had a great time! The atmosphere was on point!!! The interior was pretty and the temperature was spot on. The service was even better! We ordered the catfish which was seasoned to perfection, wings were fried just right and the honey bbq with ranch was tasty!! The Fried Green tomatoes tasted like a sweet kiss from Down South. The lamb chops were a tad bit salty but tender and juicy!! We will definitely be back!!! A new date spot for us!!!

Thank you so much this food was soooo good I ordered the shrimp Alfredo I wanted more even in a full stomach lol. The vibe was so relaxing. It was an issue with another customer and the way they handled it was also great. I will have to go back for sure I was celebrating my birthday and it’s been years that I was able to enjoy and I enjoyed every moment with the music and the vibe of feeling safe being out. My friends and family really showed up for me.

We enjoyed our food. The lamb chops were so delicious my ribeye was so moist and soft. The sides we got were also great. Loved the yams. However the bathrooms need a little bit of work.

The food this place is Excellent The service is excellent Accept the last time I went the staff was watching some kind of film that was filmed in Cleveland featuring the downtown restaurant and the language in the movie was beyond atrocious That did not contribute well to the atmosphere

Ordered some burgers, yams and chicken tenders. Everything came out great!!! Not overcooked, fries were pretty & hot not greasy! Yams were sweet but not overly. Waitress was very kind as well. There is 18% gratuity already added to bill (party of 2) so be mindful if sitting down to eat. Would definitely come back to try other things on menu👏🏼
