Service wasn’t so great waited 20 minutes after sitting waitress didn’t greet us and then after ordering the food waited over 35 minutes for pasta & chicken + chicken tenders with fries and the chicken wasn’t seasoned at all they did the bare minimum with the listed as 23$ with no 5 star service pasta tasted like 14$ worth to be honest tenders & fries 18$ ok but then auto gratuity which wasn’t mentioned made my total 53 dollars?? What kind of ripoff is this with poor customer service yall folks dead wrong the food is not 5 star service straight trash overall experience 2 out of 5 wouldn’t recommend unless you’re going for drinks but that’s it way better places to get food from doing a review on my TikTok as well.

Stopped here for the first time on Sunday for dinner. Ordered to-go... lamb chops, macaroni and cheese, and yams. Temperature of food was excellent, Everything was seasoned well...tastes great. Compliments to the chef fr! Parking is tight. There were cars double parked, which is why I ordered take out. I will be a repeat customer.

I paid $91 for catfish dinner, fried green tomatoes and 2 drinks and get even a buzz! The food was decent but I don’t like that they don’t list the price of drinks on the drink menu. I would think the price was average cost of cocktails $12-15 but no, I had a lemon drop that was $18 it taste like lemonade and a henny drop for $20 on top of them charging 18% gratuity to every check! The waitress was kind but she didn’t do $30 worth of tip that she got from my friend and I. Unfortunately I won’t be back and it’s a shame because I live to support my ppl but they don’t do right. The restaurant overall was dead on Friday night and I see why.

Sadly this restaurant has lost its touch. The quality of food I received tonight on 8/23/25 was unacceptable. I've eaten here multiple times over the years & never experienced such bad customer like I did tonight from the guy taking orders at the front of the store. Tonight I witnessed a very nasty kitchen when I showed up to pick up my takeout, in which there were lots of to-go orders filled with food in containers scattered all over the table opened wide open where gnats were landing on the food. Disgusting. Not to mention, I specifically requested on the phone several times when placing my order that I wanted my catfish fried hard and no condiments (ex:bread, hot sauce, lemon, tartar sauce) in my container & when I showed up my order was not ready yet I watched the guy up front start taking food out of all the open to-go orders that were already sitting there for who knows how long & he proceeded to bag up fish and sides he stole from another to then pass that food off on me as if it were my order instead of waiting till my order came up fresh. Smh, just lazy. I honestly dont know if those orders were canceled & he was looking for someone to pass the food off on, but that type of service is unacceptable. My fish that was requested to be fried hard was undercooked and slimy when I got home, the yams were stringy & runny with lots of oil sitting in the container. I will not be back to this restaurant. I paid for 2 dinners and wasn't able to enjoy any of the meal for dinner that night not to mention the food gave me food poisoning. Do better Grille 55

This can be an amazing place. Cooks need to be consistent. Greens were way too salty. Fish and macaroni were great, as well as fried green tomatoes. Greens were so salty we weren't able to eat them. This might have been an off one. Portions size is great, I will say. I hope they reach out. Give them a try and leave your own feedback. Thanks for following.

Stopped here for dinner with my family after my son’s baseball tournament that was played nearby. The food was fantastic and the service was top-notch. Pricing was on point for the quality and portion size. Definitely recommend!
