New location at 6140 Broadway is TERRIBLE! Ordered Chicken & Waffles via Door Dash and they sent me a TINY chicken leg and small thigh that was old and dried up as if it had been left sitting out all day and my waffles were soggy and LIMP! Paid for extra syrup and extra butter, they sent me extra syrup and tartar sauce and ketchup that I didn't order and didn't need! How are you a Soul Food spot and you can't even get chicken and waffles right? If you can't do better than this, it's time to shut your Broadway Ave. location DOWN!

Really used to like this place. I called your Euclid store 3 times today and no answer… your site says your open… the lights on the building say your open. But nobody answers the phone or comes to the front counter… yea this generation sucks. You want the community to support you, you better start doing right by your community.

Wings were nice and crispy fully cooked but not over cooked. Catfish was great too. Definitely will be going back

Take out Uber delivered. Fish order got 1 piece not 3 fries raw potatoes. Chicken dark meat order took one bite Pink inside raw chicken I'm not going back don't need to get ripped off and sick at the same time.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Mayfield’s Sam Sylk's Chicken and Fish, and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and service. The atmosphere was inviting and comfortable, and the staff was attentive and friendly.
While there was a minor mix-up with my order, the restaurant handled the situation with care and consideration. They quickly rectified the mistake and ensured I had a satisfying meal.
The food was truly exceptional. The chicken tenders were some of the best I've had in Cleveland, with a perfect balance of crispy exterior and tender interior. Even after the drive home, the food remained fresh and delicious.
Overall, I highly recommend Sam Sylk's Chicken and Fish for a delightful dining experience. The quality of the food, combined with the excellent service, make it a chicken and fish go-to in Cleveland.

The food, when they don't run out of things, and very the order correct is good. It's really good. The chicken is juicy and seasoned well. It has a nice crunch and is delicious. The sides are good. I really like their spaghetti it's a slightly sweet meat sauce that compliments the fried chicken and fish well. The shrimp dinners are expensive, but the shrimp are big, and the breading is delicious. The perch has great breading, too. My issue comes in with service. The employees can be rude, and they are consistently understaffed. Many times, we've come, and the food hasn't even been started despite it saying it was ready. Yesterday, we came 20 minutes after the time to pick up time and ended up waiting 25 more minutes. It's called Sam Sylk's Chicken and Fish for a reason. That chicken and fish are great! I come back because of the food. I'd come back more if the service was more consistent.

I ordered for pickup through Uber Eats. The food was good but lost it's texture due to being "steamed" by the secured bag.

The people where nice but the food was not good. We ordered 2 fish sandwiches. First off we waited for an hour which we where told 20 min. And our food was so greasy we couldn't eat it. Never again

I will gladly update this to five stars, but unfortunately I have not had the opportunity to try this restaurant. The restaurant is open for orders via Uber Eats; however, my order is canceled due to the store being closed. Happened at Garfield and Mayfield Hts locations. Quite frustrating- please alert staff to disable online ordering if the business is closed. I’ll just stop being lazy, and drive to Southgate Sylks. (It’s a few minutes down the road- learning lesson, I guess) ??‍♀️

I came to this shop to buy food. There was a lady working at the cash register. The officer started to get angry at me, he insulted me with his looks and the words coming out of his mouth. At that moment, he was arguing with another customer lady, it broke my psychology, I left and had to run away.
