Not bad but not great for the price. You won’t go away hungry here, but for the price, atmosphere, and cooking performance, they should be $5-10 cheaper per dish. Curious what sushi options there are around Springfield and decided to check out Sakura. Very obvious this isn't a sushi place since it's assumed everyone is there for Hibachi. And they weren't wrong with everyone else.

I ordered a dragon roll and 2 orders each of eel, tuna and 3 of salmon. I asked if 1 order was 2 pieces and the server smiled and said yes. Bless her heart. Very sweet older lady who I could barely understand. No issues whatsoever...

Fun and intimate Japanese barbecue experience. The Hibachi half of the restaurant is very dimly lit to make the fire and steam of the "show" stand out more. Our chef was very friendly and animated and was very fun and entertaining.Could definitely use a little more decor and it was a bit chilly, but the food was tasty and the staff was friendly.
