“I'm participating in Akron's Drip Drive this year by checking out all the local coffee shops in Akron, and Evelyn's has quickly become my new favorite spot by far! Their Vietnamese coffee is delicious, and I got to try a lemongrass bahn mi when I went back on a weekend and it was heavenly. But then I stopped there another week day morning before work for a coffee & bahn mi, but was sad to learn their kitchen didn't open until after 10am. Which means I'll never get to bring a bahn mi to work with me to have for lunch :( My heart broke a little as I don't work close enough to Evelyn's to drive back there midday. I wonder how many others tried to order a bahn mi in the morning for breakfast or lunch but couldn't. These hours are not clear on the website either unfortunately. I wish I could leave a 4.5 stars for this reason but yeah. I hope they have plans to expand their kitchen hours soon!!! But I'll definitely be back for at least the coffee regardless.“

“Food was delicious, my bowl was packed to the rim and the staff was very polite. The payment system froze while I was there and the gentleman that I think is the owner or manager that was there at the time comped my order even though I offered to stay until it was up and running to pay, but they insisted that they comp me for the inconvenience. Which, it really wasn’t an inconvenience at all. All in all a lovely experience!“

“I stopped for a Watermelon mint mojito smoothie and it was just what I needed on this super hot day!!! However, it was $7.45 and was not any bigger than a medium drink cup from McDonald's and only 3/4 of the way filled. The store counters and prep area could have been a little cleaner also. I would definitely go back, but will make sure I get a full cup for that price next time!!“
