Phoenix-Express Reviews
Absofuckinlutely delicious. Every single time. Uni Don for the win.
Phoenix Express has good food and is reasonably priced..
Horrible experience ordering over the static phone line. Kept cutting out and sounded like dial up internet. The Phoenix-Express restaurant offers a delightful dining experience with a focus on quality. Their scallion pancakes, described as a comforting childhood favorite, have received high praise. The menu features excellent vegetarian options and a variety of Chinese dishes, including the popular orange chicken and fried rice. Customers have particularly enjoyed the fresh, high-quality Las Vegas sushi, with some calling it the best in the area. The sushi and sashimi are noted for being super fresh, with fantastic flavor combinations, especially the Omakase Lite. The delicious Crab Rangoon is also a highlight. The restaurant provides a nice touch with bento box packaging for takeout orders. While it primarily serves takeout, the prep and flavor are a step above typical options. Although service is limited, as customers need to get silverware and sauce themselves, the quick service and friendly staff make visits enjoyable. The convenient plaza parking ensures a hassle-free visit, although some customers have mentioned that ordering online can require clear communication. A recent addition of a large TV showing 24-hour news has received mixed reactions, as it affects the overall ambiance. The General Tao Chicken is praised for being crispy, flavorful, and perfectly balanced between sweet and spicy. Overall, Phoenix-Express is considered an underrated gem in the Akron area for food quality.
