Had a late lunch here. Food was nothing to brag about. Burnt ends appetizer was extremely small. Cajun style pasta with chicken was a huge plate and not bad tasting. Would go again and try something else.
I really wanted to love this place, but for $60 I was so disappointed. The chicken parmigiana was dry and the sauce tasted like straight canned crushed tomatoes, bitter and off-putting. Definitely would’ve been more suited for bar fried mozzarella sticks than an Italian dish. The chicken fritter was equally dry and tasted like old fryer oil. We had the opportunity to stop at Bareel Lodge Bar & Grill for dinner yesterday, and it was a great experience. Our server provided outstanding customer service, making our visit even more enjoyable.
