“We bought a handful of gluten free cupcakes from White Flower for several guests at our wedding that wouldn’t be able to have our actual wedding cake. I was surprised that I couldn’t find any other bakeries that offered this, but I’m glad we went with White Flower. Our few guests were so happy to have a special treat to themselves and were blown away by how good the cupcakes were! The rest of their treats in the display cases looked just as delicious and the staff was really nice!“

“I highly recommend Patisserie 42 and Joann! First, her cakes are SO DELICIOUS!!! When we tried her samples for our wedding, my fiancé and I thought every option was just fantastic. It was hard to pick just one and ended up having three different flavors/combinations for our wedding cake. I still think about how delectable it tasted and I cannot wait to have it again on our one year anniversary! Second, Joann and her team were wonderful to work with. Despite almost having to go on maternity leave, Joann accepted my wedding and was very kind and courteous in helping me decided on the design for the cake. She was so helpful in explaining the different techniques and what would work well with our wedding size and budget. Third, even though Joann was on maternity leave when I had my wedding (congratulations on your bundle of joy!), our wedding cake tasted and looked just as we had hoped. This just speaks to the wonderful talent and team at Patisserie 42. One last note about her cakes; the guests loved it, too!! One guest even called the day after our wedding wanting to know if there were any leftovers and if they could have any! haha! “Oh my goodness what a great place!!! Went to Fairview Park location today on St Patrick's day. Got the Shepherds Pie. It was the best Shepherds Pie I ever had. The layers of flavor were amazing. I let it thaw and baked in oven per the instructions. YUMMY“

“I’d been drooling over GSB’s pastries on Facebook for months like a sugar-starved stalker, and I finally found myself in the area—hallelujah. The second I walked in, I was hit with a wave of sugary air and a warm hello that felt like a hug from a cinnamon bun. There were so many treats I wanted to adopt, but the second I saw the giant, chocolate-covered cream puff, it basically yelled, “Take me to your husband!” Mission accepted. I brought it home and casually told my husband, “Hey, I picked up a little pastry for you.” Hours later, he opened the bag and said—verbatim—“Holy #%?!”. This thing was an absolute unit. At least six inches tall, overflowing with fresh whipped cream like it was showing off. We both took a bite and just stared at each other like we’d seen pastry heaven. It was rich, cloud-like, and somehow not overly sweet. My husband, a self-proclaimed cream puff connoisseur, declared it the best he’s ever had. And trust me, the man has puff experience. Only one thought: throw in a middle pastry layer, Big Mac-style. Not because it needs it, but because my jaw would appreciate the break from climbing Mt. Cream Puff.“

“We ordered a variety of dessert shooters and misc for our wedding and people were ALL I’ve them!! Out of 160 desserts we had 5 left over which we gave to our venue staff, lets just say I think they’ll be making a trip to middleburg for some more 😂“
