Best local breakfast place in area. Feel like family there

Food is fair, but, the Bakery is Excellent.

Hands down one of the best Eastern European restaurants I’ve ever had. There are not many like this left in Cleveland, or even the US, and is a time capsule of the historical culture of Cleveland. Humble, home cooked meals meant to be shared with family and friends.
Everything I ordered was perfect;
The schnitzel, mashed potatoes, stuffed cabbage, paprikash, Slovenian sausage. Quality ingredients, fresh, perfectly seasoned and prepared. You can tell the people making your food do it with a passion.
Every time I am in Cleveland, I will absolutely make the drive, no matter where I am staying. Places like this are what made Cleveland and should be cherished and respected.

Not much to see but the best damn European food around Cleveland. It’s very old world here, and that’s what it’s about. Cash only, and I bring everyone I can. Can’t stop raving about how I walked back into the smell of my grandmothers.

Our family was in town for the holidays and wanted Bohemian/Polish food. After checking out the menu it looked like there were many food options for all of us. We were seated quickly in a booth and there was plenty of seats available. It was busy but not too noisy. We tried the Hungarian Platter with cabbage and noodles chicken paprikas stuffed cabbage and spaetzles. We also had the potato and cabbage soup that was served hot and freshly made. The children got chocolate chip pancakes, which they loved. Service was Excellent and the food was exactly what we were looking for. They also had a large selection of bakery but we were too full to try any.

In my personal opinion, the food was quite dry and some dishes were over seasoned during my visit. Having enjoyed this restaurant many years ago, the quality simply didn't match my past experiences, so I don't plan on returning. I am very disappointed.

It's a great little local diner. Had a breakfast special number 4 which included two eggs choice of meat and I had their Belgian waffle. The Belgian waffle was excellent. Delicious aroma nice and crispy. They also have an interesting selection of on site bakery items for sale. Very clean and well kept. Cash or check only no credit card.

Had breakfast here. Prices are reasonable and service was fast. Food was very good. Also bought strudel and a loaf of bread which were both very good. I highly recommend this restaurant and I will be back to try lunch or dinner. Note this is cash only

Food was fantastic ! I would absolutely go again for the stuffed cabbage and Chicken Paprikash! They were perfect!
Cabbage and noodles was too sweet for me, but because the other food was good I’d be willing to try again, may of been a one off.
