Did a takeout order from here and the food was awful. They also charge a credit card convenience fee and takeout service fee! The margherita pizza was horrible! We couldn't even finish a slice of pizza. The cheese tasted very rancid. The boneless chicken with bourbon glaze tasted bland, was over cooked and had runny watered down bourbon sauce on it. I wouldn't recommend this place for a takeout. Waste of money!

The Nut house burger was awesome fresh beef patty between 2 grilled cheese sammiches!!!!Everything was worth it!

Just awful food was not the best my grandson got stake medium well and it was still bleeding all over his plate, ice melted as soon as we got our drinks. My husbands wings were burnt no Lobster in the lobster bisque. Granddaughter had the hamburger it was pink in middle. They put other people's food on our bill that was with us then to add insult to injury they charge you 3% to use a card. For as much as the food is they really need to do better. I wish I could give zero stars because that's what they deserve.

Hannah our waitress was fabulous! She has a smile and the kind of natural friendliness that is rare. Food is always good here. I recommend the fish and chips.

Love love love the food but the fact it was hotter in the restaurant today than outside (its a real feel of 90 outside) really sucked :/ we won't be back until after summer if it's always that hot in there.

My Mom and I came in this past Saturday, May 31, 2025 for lunch at 11:30 AM. This is the second great review on restaurants in a week! I don't write reviews unless they are earned and deserved, this one is beyond deserved!! From the moment we walked in until we left was an excellent experience. The hostess, I did not catch her name, pleasant, welcoming, smiling and accommodating. We felt very welcomed and appreciated her kindness. Chris, our server, showed how much she valued the patrons as much as she valued her career choice. She greeted us promptly and with what one would expect from a server. She listened to my concerns and when she didn't know the answers, she said so and immediately said she would find out. This is when the GM, Brian, became involved and he was as exceptional as Chris and the hostess. They made us feel truly appreciated and cared about through our whole dining experience. The food was excellent, Sweet Potato Tater Tots shouldn't be ignored, we ordered them without sugar and cinnamon. There are vegan options that they are willing to make the experience great. The whole experience only made us want to return, much sooner than later. I made a living waiting tables and my expectations set the bar very high, this goes for my Mom as well. They far exceeded that bar and this can only be achieved by a great staff that honestly cares about their work ethic, their establishment and most importantly the guests. I know this is a long review, but people need to know that customer service hasn't fallen by the wayside for the all mighty dollar. Thank you to the front of the house to the back of the house at Big Walnut Grill, because without each of you, this review would never have happened!

Went on my lunch break which is only 30 minutes. Ordered over the phone, went to pick up my food, took it back to work and this is what I opened up and found. If I had more time I would have taken it back.. looks like I got a nuked baked potato and super dry onion straws and very dry ribs.Lets just say this was the worst.
We were milling around Sunbury after visiting Tanger and wanted something different. The server was great gave us good suggestions. We both ended up having the salad...which are huge and delicious.

This place has a family-friendly vibe. Food is good and prices are reasonable. Staff has always been friendly and attentive. For those looking to eat gf, they have a separate menu. My celiac daughter had no issues eating here.
