This place was great. My family and I went on Sunday and I wish I would have caught the server's name but he was great. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was very welcoming! We definitely will be back!

I ordered their highly recommended "Sizzlin New York Strip Steak". It stated it was juicy. Far from juicy, it was DRY! I added mushrooms and onions to it and the mushrooms had a funny taste. For the side I added a salad, which was very good. I also added their load potato bites and those were dry with hardly any cheese or bacon on it. For $40, this was a highly disappointing meal. The atmosphere is great but our server didn't seem he wanted to be there. I will return but will order something different as their sandwichs do look good.

First time visiting Columbus, and this was suggested to us.After sitting down, we Immediately realized that my aunt, who used a walker, had no way of using the restroom, as the tavern is not ADA compliant. The restroom is upstairs.We had to ask twice for lemons with water, and my sweet tea was minimally sweet.Our waitress suggested a lobster soup to me, which i asked to receieve a cup of. She came back to tell me that they were out of it. So i traded for chili.I ordered a Tavern Burger mwith sweet pototo fries. My aunt and mom ordered the Ruben; One with waffle fries, one with regular fries.When our food arrived i checked my burger temp and it was overcooker. I ordered medium rare and receieved it more medium well. My aunt recieved the wrong fries and her bread was over toasted.Our food was quiet good but when the, despite the glitches. However check appeared.... we were all in shock. We were told waffle fries and sweet potato were a "slight" upcharge. $2.50 Is not slight!I cant say we would ever come back or suggest this resturuant.

Food was an hour and a half late and the food was cold as can be. If you like waiting for your food to be cold and an hour and a half late than this is the perfect place for you. The waitress was fine. I’ve been going to the tavern for years and going in 2024 doesn’t even remotely make sense go to district 13 if you want your food to be the bare minimum. Unacceptablely cold food here literally 1 out of 5 hands dow. We enjoyed talking about the food being late more than the food being brought to us literally save the money and go somewhere else
