I feel like this place is a waste of space honestly.. It would be a lot better if it were a diner.

Great food. Small and overpriced imo, but otherwise solid and reliable.
Delicious food, enjoyed everything I got.

We thought we'd give it a shot on our way through Sylvania this time instead of going to Bob Evans. It has fancy decor but the food lacks a bit of finesse. My husband's Quiche seemed to be reheated in the microwave. And speaking of micro ... It was on the smaller side. I had an Avocado toast and it was just a plain toast (as in one piece sliced in half) with dried chili peppers on top. The cappuccino was good and would have been better if served in a mug. My husband's latte was okay. We'll still look for a better breakfast and lunch place next time...
Love this place and the overall vibe it provides! A great place for a date or a catch up with a friend. Highly recommend the chai.

Buyer Beware: Came through a couple months ago and had a fantastically memorable sandwich . On a recent stop I decided to try Chandler's again. The Rueben immediately caught my eye so I ordered it. While the sandwich was good, it was NOT a Rueben. What I got was a corned beef sandwich on a marble rye with creamy cole slaw. Read past the name so expectations are not dashed.
The riverside rueben was really good, but really expensive for what it was. Chips and guac were grocery store prepackaged quality for 5 bucks, pretty crazy. Pretty good all around, but for the sake of my wallet I'm probably not coming back.
Half a sandwich + chips and guac with a medium black decaf = 17 bucks. In what world?

Very nice coffee/light lunch spot. Great breakfast sandwiches served all day. Additional sandwiches and salads for lunch. Love the Wildwood and Uptown Chicken Melt. Delicious baked goods.
Older storefront in downtown Sylvania - lots of exposed brick. Nice views of the downtown area.
Order/pay at the counter and staff brings food to the table - not a big issue but having staff come to the table and take orders would be nice.

Shrink-flation is real at this place. I've been here 3 times, and each time I visited this place to eat, the portion sizes of the food get smaller each time and get more expensive. I'll admit, I absolutely love the food here. It's simple and delicious. But dang, my money is going to waste when I come here.
For example, today, I purchased a wrap, a cookie, and a "tall" smoothie. The total came to about $25, and I always like to tip the workers, so add another couple of bucks to that. For all of that, was it really worth $30? Absolutely not. Sure, I should've looked at the prices more carefully, but I wanted to treat myself. Yeah, that was a mistake on my part.
I'm very disappointed and can no longer return to this café because it's getting too expensive. Please do better, Chandler Café.

Better than chain shops like Starbucks or Tim Hortons.

I've been coming here for years and have always loved it. The food is pricey but always delicious. Whenever you use a card going thru the drive thru they turn the tablet towards you and ask for a tip (which i dont mind girl get your money but I know for a fact that they get paid a good wage. I'm not going to tip you for doing the job you're being paid a decent wage for already). I always politely decline and used to have no problems at all but the last three times I've said no the service declines drastically. The food here is not cheap. I'm talking two people get a drink and a meal and boom you've spent $40. I never minded before because as I've said the food and service used to bd well worth it. But now I need to factor in a tip to ensure that my food and drinks get made correctly and that the person working isn't throwing negative energy my way? Please, I beg, fix the tipping culture ? I used to be a waitress and this is getting ridiculous
