“I can’t explain how much I enjoyed my first dinner at Ciao. My son took me out for Mother’s Day and this is where we decided to go. I went all the way to Italy and back only a week ago in search of amazing food (specifically pasta in a cheese wheel) and it turns out I just had to go to Toledo. Gino, our server was personable and attentive. Excellent service!!”

“Amazing food. Whether you eat in the restaurant, take out or catering it is the most amazing and consistent food. It is our family’s favorite take out and we just had them cater a large (30) family dinner. The food was delivered and it was perfect. Huge quantities and delicious. All of our family was impressed with the meal and loved everything. I would highly recommend for quiet restaurant, great take out, or catering. Wonderful food and great service. Thank you!!”

“Came here one of our first nights after moving here from California. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. The ‘pies’ were a bit unusual looking at first, being cut into squares with the cheese covering the toppings… HOWEVER, taste is the name of the game. And they tasted incredible. I prefer a slightly over cooked pizza and they did not disappoint. I am a fan of browned cheese on the edges and it was perfect. I watched the young man hand stretch the dough, which was really neat to watch. And the garlic bread was something I will order every time! We were very pleased with our first Toledo pizza experience! We will be back!”

“Sat at the bar, quickly served and attentive staff . Jalepeno bacon balls were full of flavor and dipped in the alioli added extra dimension. BBQ beef was flavored well, but light in the sauce. Huge serving. Chips were well seasoned and super crispy.”

“I went here as a kid with my parents often and last night I continued the tradition with my daughter. Having her experience such amazing and interesting food at three and a half was great, but having the owner and our server help my daughter with learning how to use chopsticks might take the cake for the most wholesome experience possible. They even got her a special cup that was a little easier to handle. What a special place. Side note: she has some food allergies and everyone was super cool about that as well. I know how hard that can be for those who want to dine out.”

“Tera is amazing along with Brandon. I could do without Reagan’s mouth. This place is a beautiful safe dive bar gem. Check it out. If u are new they may stare at you but quickly be inviting. Nothing like it in Sylvania and we need this staple that has been here for 50 years

I’m a teetotaler but still enjoy relaxing in a bar atmosphere with friends and family, and I was so pleased that they provide NA beer options here - and good ones from NA craft breweries, not just O’Doul’s! Athletic, Gruvi, etc. They aren’t listed on the beer menu, you just have to ask. Thanks, Dallas family for expanding a Sylvania classic!”

“I've been looking for the perfect gyro since the late eighties and I finally found it!!!!!!!! I'm serious... I always had a complaint about every gyro I've tried until now. It had REAL gyro meat and the perfect cucumber sauce with NO carrots! My only complaint is that I had to ask for feta . If you want a perfect gyro ASK for feta. It changes everything”

“We came here for dinner and there were 7 of us. Hostess told us there was not a table available so they put us on a list. Than she told us we had to wait in our car. My grandchildren were busy playing on the game machines so I asked her if we could just hang out by the games and she was very rude to me and said we were in the way. So we had to take the small children outside and wait. So than we kept seeing people coming in with the same amount of people being seated before us. Finally when we were seated the waitress took our order and we literally waited for an hour and a half for our food. The waitress got an attitude with us when we asked about our order instead of apologizing to us. I probably would of understood if the place was busy but by the time we sat down all the tables around us were empty. I felt very disrespected and felt like the hostess and the waitress were very rude . Also the food was terrible. I will never go to this place ever again. Terrible customer service”

“The gentleman working by himself at 12:00pm on Sunday the 16th of October was AMAZING. Even working by himself he was efficient, kind, and fast! Every time he’s here we know the subs will always excellent and service will be great. Bonus points for the Disney music we all sang to as we ate! :)”
