“Whatever you order is going to be cooked within an inch of its life, courtesy of Chef Torch. It's still better than average, but just barely. The service is much better than average, with a wait staff who know what they're doing. The atmosphere could be better, but it's generally reasonably quiet with adult customers. I'd recommend the Sylvania Diner to anyone.“

“Wish I could do 3.5. Food was fine, but don’t expect anything for free as just good service. Was charged $4 for extra veggies for our wings. Seems a bit insane of an up charge, especially if you don’t warn people. Other than that, great.“

“We ate dinner there last night, service and everything was great as usual until I got home with our Burris burrito and I found out they it was 90% rice and had trouble finding any shredded beef , really disappointed with the lack of meat. I hope in the future when you get a to go order that doesn’t happen. My son had the same Burrito there and it had a lot of meat in it, so I don’t know why the to go order was a complete opposite?“

“I placed an online order and drove over. When I arrived I was greeted by a friendly woman. I told her about my pickup and told her I was from out of town trying this chain for the first time. “I had them drain the meat before putting it on the chili mac and it has greatly improved the taste. Before that I would spend a ton of time on the toilet. The same goes for their chili dogs. The buns are not soggy anymore. I have no idea why this just isn't a thing but I feel like a lot of your other customers would benefit if you would do this automatically.“

“My boyfriend and I visited J. Alexander’s for the first time this Saturday evening. We had a reservation for 6 and were seated around 6:05, after checking in at 5:50. The young women at the hostess stand were extremely polite and friendly. The atmosphere inside the place is great. It’s quite dark, but I personally enjoy that. It was packed of course, being a Saturday night, but it didn’t feel claustrophobic. I think it’s cool that guests can look into the kitchen and see the cooks at work, although we were seated away from that section of the restaurant. After being seated, our waiter, Donny H., soon came by. He politely introduced himself and got us our drinks. My boyfriend and I are both pretty quiet people. Neither of us had questions about the menu and we had no requests for him throughout the meal. Even though he didn’t have much to work with, Don still did great with us!! Both of us enjoyed our food. I got the rotisserie chicken with smashed potatoes. For some reason, I didn’t realize it would come as a whole rotisserie chicken LOL. I kind of thought it would be cut up, but that’s definitely user error. The chicken was very tender and pretty easy to cut up on my own. While we were eating, I noticed that all of the wait staff seem to have excellent customer service skills. A few different waiters came by our table to clear plates, bring out our appetizer, etc. Every single one of them was as kind and gracious to as Don was, even though they weren’t getting tipped from us. I think that’s pretty rare to find. At the end of the service, Don even surprised us with carrot cake for free because it was our first time visiting. It was very kind of him. Maybe it’s just something he does to boost his tips, but hey, I respect the hustle!! And the carrot cake was dang good, even after taking it home and having it cold!! Overall a great experience. I’d definitely love to come back at some point even though it’s a bit of a drive for us.“

“I don’t go out to eat often but when my child graduated kindergarten and asked for sushi I said yes. When we got there Emely greeted us and my daughter enthusiastically informed her that she lost a tooth today, too. Emely anticipated needs (brought chopstick helpers without asking) and also asked discreetly about allergies so she could surprise her— she brought out strawberry mochi with coconut ice cream inside which was perfect for a little girls celebration and was not expected. The food as always is very reasonably priced and very fresh and delicious but it was Emely’s service that prompted me to actually review after decades of dining here.“

“I had your mead at ORF today and I need to find some to order. The cranberry-habanero was absolutely fantastic. The cardamom was also great, but that cranberry habanero is on a whole other level. Wonderful work.

Tried the two aforementioned and the french toast meads.

These are honey heavy meads, which are atypical in my experience for Ohio. The french toast one tasted a lot like pnacake syrup, not really my jam.

The cardamom was great - mild honey with a bold cardamom. I would love to try that with a spicy meal as I think it would pair wonderfully.

The cranberry habanero was slightly less sweet, and had not only a slight spiciness but also the gardeny-pepper quality of fresh chilis. This is a great mead and I'd gladly order from you if I could find a link to online.“

Pleasant atmosphere, clean and sanitary. Menu had an extremely large selection of breakfast, lunch and dinner items. Next time I’ll capture and post menu. They had specials posted (ss pictures). We had bacon, eggs, toast and home fries and a Farmers Omelet with hash browns. Both were excellent , note farmers omelet comes with sausage gravy mine was pictured without. Scrumptious food and pleasant wait staff, conveniently located on Briarfield Blvd near I-475.“

Always great, and as an added plus their margaritas are Best in Toledo. The staff is fantastic, and the food comes out hot and quick. We stopped in once again last night. It doesn't get better than this!“

“Was just there yesterday, and absolutely everything was amazing. As soon as you open that 1st door you can smell that good bbq smoke. The service was great no complaints at all very welcoming when you get there. They were also so appreciative as we left. The food is a 10/10 across the board. We will differently be back to try more of the menu. Hopefully we get to enjoy the patio next time we go. That would have put our first time experience over the top. I highly recommend to try it for yourself.“

“Tried Condado Tacos for the first time today, through Uber Eats. I’m HIGHLY recommending them if you are a taco lover! And if you’re looking for some good comfort food. I got a bowl and a Blue Dream taco. The Blue Dream was THE best taco I’ve ever had. And the bowl was just as delicious! Came to me warm and fresh. Big portions and is worth every penny. Will definitely be a regular from now on!“
