“My girlfriend and I drove over an hour to visit this little Burger place and it didn't disappoint. The small town vibe and inviting atmosphere were perfect for sunny Sunday afternoon. We sat by the windows with the sun shining in, the food was outstanding and the owner/waitress was very nice and warming. Food was different than most burger places but it was delicious and makes you want to come back to try a different off the wall burger!“

He took time to discuss options with us and even offered my daughter who hasn’t ever tried grape leaves a sample to try! He actually brought out a meat and a veggie one! “We tried this place that REALLY should be acknowledged as a hidden/rare gem. We were the first ones that arrived for service and we were served by Missy, who was so courteous, gentle and knowledgeable! She gave us a very detailed explanation of the dishes and we ended up trying the beef Mandu (sorry, no picture, it was so good!) as well as the Bibimbap Bulgogi. The music is nice and the place is cozy, make yourself a favor and give them a try!“

“A great American Diner experience. The setting is comfortable and service attentive as well as friendly. Solid breakfasts, sandwiches, salads, and dinner choices. I had the meatloaf, good portions, and paid an extra buck for the French Onion Soup topped with toasty cheese. A steak house couldn't do much better. Check the hours when you plan to go, they're variable depending on the day.“

“I'm not going to give a 1 star because the restaurant and food itself is always fantastic. But our server Amber was extremely rude. She made a mistake and instead of apologizing and making it right she got an attitude, got our bill immediately (we wanted to order more), slammed it on the table and didn't speak the rest of the time to us. “The menu had several offerings that were well prepared at a reasonable price. I have been frustrated with so many “fake fancy” menus in our local restaurants that are far more expensive and poorly executed, so it was a pleasant surprise to experience such a good value. The crab cake appetizer was substantial and delicious (good crab amount and delicious sauce), the Walleye piccata was very good and my wife thoroughly enjoyed her seafood risotto (a dish that has gone wrong at other regional restaurants). Both our cocktails were modern and delicious (made right - not sugary sweet), and our waitress served the meal at the right cadence so that we could enjoy our drinks and appetizer without being rushed into the entree. She was attentive and authentic - again, not “fake fancy” like other establishments. We were too full to try the dessert menu, but we will definitely return for final tasting and judgment (a nod to Iron Chef fans). This is not a Michelin star restaurant by any means, but it is that rare comfortable place you can go for regular date nights (business casual is my preference for the restaurant I think they are, but many of their guests were dressed more casually, which is perfectly fine). Finally, if you are gluten free, there are many menu selections that are genuinely delicious (not “fake gluten free” by removing some key component of the dish).“

“We were in Ohio for a wedding and stopped here for dinner. There was a 45 minute wait but after a quick look inside, we decided that it was worth checking out. We were very glad we waited, the appetizers were incredible and the burgers were perfect. I love bourbon and was impressed at their selection. If we are ever back in Ohio, we will definitely be back.“

and the price was reasonable (very inexpensive).

“I had your mead at ORF today and I need to find some to order. The cranberry-habanero was absolutely fantastic. The cardamom was also great, but that cranberry habanero is on a whole other level. Wonderful work.

Tried the two aforementioned and the french toast meads.

These are honey heavy meads, which are atypical in my experience for Ohio. The french toast one tasted a lot like pnacake syrup, not really my jam.

The cardamom was great - mild honey with a bold cardamom. I would love to try that with a spicy meal as I think it would pair wonderfully.

The cranberry habanero was slightly less sweet, and had not only a slight spiciness but also the gardeny-pepper quality of fresh chilis. This is a great mead and I'd gladly order from you if I could find a link to online.“

“Had the Tradional Benny. Great like always. The wait staff and kitchen were showing great teamwork. The Diner was packed and we waited maybe 10 minutes for our food.“

“I got the Irish Eggs Benedict and their home made corned beef hash on it was absolutely delicious!! I love my corned beef hash crispy and this was crispy without being burnt!! The hasbrowns were crispy on the outside as well which I love!!

“First time trying BM Chen's and I can easily say it is the best chinese we have tried in Toledo. When they say authentic, they mean it. It is entirely a different experience than the typical fried chinese food. You can tell the food is cooked fresh and is indeed different from the Americanized versions of usual dishes. “Recently dined at Bar Louie while staying overnight in the Perrysburg area. While it was too crowded and loud (for me), the service and food was phenomenal. I highly recommend the Truffle & Asparagus Flatbread. It was delicious! I will definitely return to Bar Louie the next time I am in the area.“
