“My wife and I had dinner at Benchmark for my 80th birthday last night. It was wonderful! Our waiter, Josh, was professional and friendly. The food, lobster tail and 8 oz filet, asparagus side, was cooked just right and superb. We got a free Dubai chocolate tiramisu for dessert, which was delectable. Benchmark has generally been consistently good, with great service, and this was no exception.“

“I went to this restaurant a lot back in the early 2000s while in college and it was amazing then and it's amazing now 2026!! Went to visit BG and I knew I had to return to my favorite restaurant... SamBs! I got the crab cakes and fries and that aoli they have to go with it.... OUTSTANDING!! Service was amazing! Greeted at the door and the place is clean... Food was HOT and fresh!!! which is a plus! I hate when it's lukewarm. Those fries!! Sooo good... Crunchy not soggy. I was looking for their awesome wings they used to have back in the day but they don't have them anymore but everything else was still good!! Y'all did not disappoint! “I've been scouring NW Ohio for the best meatloaf and I have finally found it!! The meatloaf is buttery tender, juicy, full of flavor, the crispy onions on the top really complimented the flavor. Mashed was perfect. The bread pudding... oh my garsh... the BEST ever!! (This was a to go order)
If you are looking for a comfort meal elevated to perfection, The Meatloaf with Bread pudding as dessert is perfection.

“A great American Diner experience. The setting is comfortable and service attentive as well as friendly. Solid breakfasts, sandwiches, salads, and dinner choices. I had the meatloaf, good portions, and paid an extra buck for the French Onion Soup topped with toasty cheese. A steak house couldn't do much better. Check the hours when you plan to go, they're variable depending on the day.“

We started with a charcuterie board, which was presented very well, and ended with the pub style sliders with truffle fries and garlic aioli. The fries are INCREDIBLE! “We visited on a Monday in mid-April 2025 for lunch.

This was a typical zoo restaurant. It's a grab and go. There are prepared foods on the side, both hot and cold. There are customizable stuff behind the counter and made to order. Expect it to be overpriced.

The loaded mac and cheese wasn't bad. The young lady behind the counter was making it for us when an older man (who I assume to be a manager) walked by and told her she was putting TOO much toppings in the mac and cheese so she stopped mid scoop with the bacon.

We got chicken tenders and fries which were both fine. We also got the prepared cobb salad. The lettuce on top looked fine but once we opened it and dug deeper, the lettuce were the harder and thicker stalks and more discolored. We still ate it because we were hungry but it did not look super fresh or maybe the salad sat too long in the back before packing it.

We also got the chocolate pudding and the jello. We all agreed the gummy worms in the chocolate pudding had a weird taste and off putting. The texture was also strange and unfortunately a lot of the flavor had leached into the pudding. The jello however was fine and those gummies were normal.

Condiments you grab on your own, self serve.

Cashier was nice and asked if we had membership, which we did and gave us the additional discount. It's nice when they ask because I forget sometimes with all the craziness going on.

The restaurant it self wasn't packed but there were 4 or 5 other groups in there with us. The place also was very clean and new looking. Not sure when this placed opened or renovated but it was very clean and modern. There are no tables to eat inside so we went outside to find a seat. There were no tables in the Kid's play place or neighborhood area so we walked around to where the hippo statues were to eat.

Even though the zoo website says no outside food, we were never searched and I swear almost EVERYONE we saw at the picnic tables had brought food in. Maybe it was locals who knew vs tourist. You can always leave and eat food in your car but it's just so inconvenient.“

“I must say that I love our Big Boy sandwiches at the Maureen, ohio location. In Ohio, we have tartar sauce on our Big boys and they are so good! If you go to a Big boy in Michigan be warned, it won't be the same, because they don't use tartar sauce and it's not even close to as good as our Big boy. I'd eat Big boy burgers every day if I could!“
