“Great place to eat! Very fair prices. Good good. Digital jukebox to play your favorite music. In town for an event and this place hit the spot. One drink seemed a little off. The other was very good. Overall I was satisfied and would come back next time in town!“
“I had the crispy chicken sandwich/sweet potatoe fries. Onion rings short. My husband had the bone in wing/fries. Pretzel bites. My food came out first. Waitress said that she just put his order in when mine was served. His order was served/incorrect. Boneless wings. Finally he received his wings. Waitress did apologize several times. She was having a bad day. The food tasted delicious.“
“A great place to eat, we went for a late lunch. We had a mushroom swiss burgers, and they were the best I've had in a long time. They were seared on the outside and juicy on the inside. The prices were very reasonable too. Also the staff were very friendly, and helpful.“
“I appreciate our server, Alexis, she was great! Food is great. The TVs were mot too loud, we could hold a conversation without needing to shout. Drinks were excellent. We are definitely going back.Parking: Near the door. Lots of parking on a Friday evening.“
“I have avoided coming to BJs for over a year because of the poor service and attitudes. We popped in today after church as my daughter picked the restaurant today—- so glad we came. The server (Jimmy) was bright, great attitude and his professional service and genuine kindness refreshed my desire to return again soon. Toledo has a lot of places to eat and I am no foodie but would return based on his attitude and today’s refreshing service alone. Thank You Jimmy for treating so kind and providing quick, courteous service.“
“Smokey bones this was my first time eating here and the ribs and everything was to perfection. There was a wait because it was a Friday which was to be expected. The only complaint was that the tissue was hard to assess in the stalls and there was zero hand soap restroom.“
“The food was great! I had one of their prime rib sandwiches, the buttery one, and it just melted in my mouth! It's a bar atmosphere, which I don't mind, but some might. Drawback is there are not alot of tables. It is kinda small. I'm told there is a line out the door on certain days. I suggested it to Diners, Drive-ins & Dives, so we'll see what happens. Definitely check it out! I will definitely go there again!Parking: It's in a small strip mall with other businesses, and some if not all have delineated which spots are theirs.“
“*****Great Diner! Food Looks Great, Smells Great, Taste Great and Service is Top Notch! Atmosphere? Fresh and so clean clean! "Ignore" the naysayers about? Red Star Diner❤️?❤️? in Temperance Michigan! Go try it for your yourself and be the judge!Vegetarian options: Ask for no animal protein in your dish/meal if that's an option. Or get a salad or another vegetable choice!Dietary restrictions: The have salads and something lite options!Parking: Easy pull up to door for handicap and elderly and little ones!Kid-friendliness: Family diner, great prices and fun food choices for picky food eaters!Wheelchair accessibility: Spacious Diner; easy maneuver, low curb sidewalk, chairs.“
“Classic steakhouse fare, modern steakhouse vibes. Overall, good service, solid food, and huge portions. Nothing blew me away, and I really wish my steak was more tender. But I did really enjoy getting my steak the "Chef's Way," which came with a healthy amount of butter poached king crab, steeped in Korean steak butter and black truffle bernaise, and some asparagus. And popovers for the complimentary bread service is always a plus in my book!“
“Good food, not great, took away some of the items that were reasons why we went. If you're going to list the specials, it would be nice if they were available. Not our server's fault by any means, but it didn't help with the attitude.“
“This place has the Super Super BEST GIGS DINNER YOUCOULD EVER ASK FOR. THEY SERVE IT AROUND ST. PATERICKS DAY WEEK-END. You get a very good portion of food and the flavor and taste is so good to die for. The service is VERY SUPERB GREAT!!! THE PLACE IS SUPER CLEAN AND THE PEOPLE ARE VERY VERY NICE, THE PRICE IS RIGHT AND YOU WILL HAVE A VERY GREAT EXPERIANCE WHEN YOU COME TO THIS PLACE YOU WILL DEFINATLY WANT TO GO BACK, I WILL GARENTEE IT. WELL WORTH THE TRIP THERE.“
“Top Recommendation - the Lemon Pepper Wings! Prices are reasonable, Food is Great and drinks are delicious. I get the lemon pepper seasoning on my green beans as well as the wings. Nice Atmosphere, better than just a bar, and has a bigger variety of food.“
“Amazing!! Absolutely Amazing!! Service was wonderful!! But the food- off the charts FANTASTIC!! Common food, with unique twists and homemade qualities. Which creates perfection on the plate and fireworks in your mouth!! I can't wait to come back!!“
“We went for our anniversary. Trying a new spot we have been hearing about. Our waiter was super amazing. I got the tune med rare(to share. I suggest seared). And orzo side with tomatoes. They were good and flavors blended. Warning to you. It is a chilled dish so it won't be hot. My fiance got southwestern pasta and mac n cheese. The pasta had good blend of peppers and spices. Creamy dish. The mc n cheese was ny style and was good for.trying it that way“
“Love ideal hotdog! Best chili Mac hands down! Staff is the best here! Clean place awesome food.Great chili dogs! Great omelets! Great everything. Looking for a classic diner with great food stop in. Been around forever. They need to sell ideal hotdog merch. One of the best restaurants in Toledo.“
“If I could put more stars, I would! Our first time visiting and our server Dawn was superb she went above and beyond to make our dinner special. I asked her to pick my meal, and what she recommended was perfect. It was a dry age NY strip with sautéed mushrooms and a big loaded potato. The restaurant was very cozy and the atmosphere was perfect. If you want romantic dinner, then this is the place.“
“Diner food at its best--this is a must-stop in Toledo if you like this kind of food & feel! Meatloaf was fluffy and mouthwateringly savory. Breakfast burrito has the fluffiest eggs ever--quite a feat when the eggs are stuffed & rolled inside a tortilla! Best thing we ate, though, was the chocolate peanut butter pie. Again, crazy fluffy and was exactly the right flavor profile. We also had a chocolate peanut butter shake to which we asked to add bananas. Also fluffy and yummy!“
“Stopped in for an early lunch. Service was fast and friendly. I was the only customer that dined in for the 45 minutes I was there. Plenty of people came in for carry out or pick ups. I got the crispy chicken wrap and added Buffalo it was delicious. The only complaint is the onion rings. They poured a large amount of salt on them. I was wiping off salt but the wrap was really good. I spent $15 on a wrap, onion rings and a drink.“
“The atmosphere makes you feel like you are in Bavaria. We both had wiener schnitzel with a variety of side dishes, which were all delicious. The portions were large, and something that seems rare these days, the prices were under $20 for superior entrees. Then, despite being full, we couldn't resist the Black Forest Cake, which was enough for four. It was under $5 and may have been the best dessert we ever had.“
“This is my #1 spot in the City of Toledo for Chicken and Waffles! Service is always the best and I love the atmosphere! Parking can be a little tricky just because you need to find a spot on street with meter parking or you can lot park if you prefer. I have never had to park far though.I wish they were open on Saturdays, the business hours from 11-3p during week make it hard for me to get there more often. The only time I make it out there is when I have a day off during the week.“
“So this place has the best subs on this side of the river in Toledo .. the portions have slimmed down from what they used to be, but you still get a monster size sub for the price that you pay .. the prices have went up, but again it's actually worth it for what you get !! I'm“
“I love Coopers Hawk! My girlfriends and I go there probably 3-4 times a month. We have always had great food and service. Lately we have been sitting at the bar and let’s just say the service is not what you get at a table. Took 3 hrs for them to remove dirty dishes from the people that sat there before us. We had to move it out of our way so they could serve us. But the bartender didn’t take the dirty plates, even after bring us out new food! The manager came behind the bar smiled and walked right past the dirty plates pile as well ?. I have bartended and served the majority of my life and I couldn’t believe it. We have been back since then and it seems like the bartender’s are torn between getting server drink orders and taking care of the guests sitting at the bar. 2 bartenders taking care of the servers orders and we had to keep flagging someone down to get a drink and food, silverware. I am hopeful new training or procedures for the bar area will fix this one issue. Otherwise I love this place!“
“I had about given up on prime rib after the last couple of restaurants. This place has restored my faith. BEST prime rib I have in a long time. The salads were fresh with lots of greens. French onion soup was pretty decent. The deep fried chicken tasted good. The only reason I left a 4 star is the grouchy, snappy server.“
“Traveling from out of town and wanted soul food. Google lead us here!!! Baked chicken, fried chicken, fish, yams, greens, Mac and cheese and okra all was amazing!I will be back when passing through. Oh how could I forget the customer service was on point!“
“Absolutely confused why they closed the location on Reynolds Road near Maumee a few years ago. Loved that one and missed it dearly. Visited this location hoping it was still a home run and my goodness it’s even better!! The Memphis Mac is a 10/10 must have and they have bottomless fries!! $13.99 for a huge delicious packed grilled cheese and bottomless fries is incredible!! Only suggestion I would make is please open more locations because this place is too good!! The service was fast and friendly!!“
“Nom Nom BBQ!Family shared the ultimate platter.Brisket and pulled pork was a little dry.Beans were amazing, Mac and cheese was good. Ribs were great, corn bread was yummy. We did have to wait 20 mins for a seat. Place is quite popular. Was a nice experience“
“This place fired in all cylinders and and all the food was super fresh the cooks and servers were all on the same page and definitely delivered exceptionally. Drove about 50 minutes for this and it was worth every second especially since the pricing was amazing although high prices are hitting in all walks of life today, this is still the best option in receiving great customer service, awesome food Quality, and a cool and collected environment to enjoy a late night or an early bird special.“
“Webster defines 'perfection' as "the quality or state of being perfect". I define it as the Texas Roadhouse on Trust Drive. As a place to eat, a place to unwind and as an experience. The Texas Roadhouse on Trust is the state of being perfect. It's near my house so I frequent it. Sometimes service can be slow but always super friendly and aware. The food is always great and I love being able to skip the wait by joining the waitlist ahead of time. They also melt the blue cheese crumbles on my New York strip perfectly. I've enjoyed every dining experience I've had at the Texas Roadhouse on Trust and I trust that you will too.“
“The food, drinks, and service were amazing. Our appetizer of pretzel bites was fresh and good. They had Maumee Bay on tap, which was awesome. I love coming here any time I’m craving a burger. They are always hot, fresh, and never dry. I recommend the 795 Mac because I love their take on McDonald’s “special sauce.” The Union burger is also a delicious option if you like a fried egg on top of your burger. The prices are also very reasonable for dining out. After two drinks, burgers, and an appetizer we spent under $50 before tip.“
“Just stopped in for a few drinks while catching up with a friend ? A Miami Vice with a kicker. The staff is always friendly and attentive!!! I have eaten here before and the food is always delicious ? When it's warm outside, I like to sit on the “
“Went with a few people on a Saturday evening for dinner. The food was awesome. Tried the bruschetta, Pierogies for appetizers. Was really good. I had the fried chicken sandwich. I have to say it was probably one of the best chicken sandwiches I’ve ever eaten. I had a Manhattan and it was on point. Very good. It was really crowded. I guess that’s a testament to how good it is. The service was good considering how busy it was. I would recommend to try this place out.Parking: There’s a parking lot on the premises. Seems to be plenty of parking. And seems secure.“
“We are visiting from South Florida and we absolutely loved Grace’s Kitchen!! We were looking forward to coming here since Sunday and boy was it worth the wait!!! I was between the cinnamon brown sugar French toast/pancakes and the apple pie pancakes/French toast, so when I asked if they can combine both, Molly was super sweet and accommodated me. It was absolutely the best French toast we ever had!! So much so my husband and I shared it and I ordered a ham and cheese omelette (which was delish as well). My husband got Jimmy’s omelette, which he loved. We both loved our meals so much that we literally came back the next day for the same thing. We also got the homemade cinnamon marshmallows yesterday and roasted them over the campfire, absolutely delish!!! This is definitely our go to spot when we come back. If you visit this restaurant, I really feel you will not be disappointed. We weren’t and I’m a bit picky. Lol.“
“Had the turkey chipotle sandwich w/fries and it was delish. Just the right amount of chipotle sauce, shaved turkey, and pickles with onion on a super fresh bun. The fries are a cut above rest. The cafe was hopping busy at lunch time but service was great.“
“We came here for dinner and sat in the bar. The server we had was excellent and the burgers were perfectly cooked. Love the cold slaw too. However there was a shrieking kid behind us and I wasn't aware that children were allowed in the bar. The evening would have been more pleasant without him. We are here for a long weekend and the hotel recommended that we come here.“
“We really enjoyed our brunch at Brim House. The view of the river is really nice. Our server, Connor, gave us great service. The vegan tacos were very well seasoned and the Rueben Benedict was amazing and so creative. Thanks for a great time!“
“Awesome pizza!! Service was super fast. The first time we were there we asked a lot of questions and he patiently answered any and all questions. It Is a bit of a drive for us but we will definitely be going back!! Pizza, Sub, and cinnamon sticks we had were all yummy!!“
“Small cafe in strip mall, out of the way but worth it. Fast, friendly service, clean restroom. I had delicious turkey reuban on scrumptious marble rye. Shared giant, crispy onion rings with hubby. He had a very good crispy chicken quesadilla with lots of toppings. Desserts on chalkboard, bread pudding and pies sounded good. Had lunch special 1/2 sandwich with soup or salad for $6.75. Would recommend“
“The outside of Red Willow doesn’t prepare you for how great the inside of the venue looks! The owners did an amazing job renovating and decorating this space! They are very easy to work with and will walk you through all of the options available to make your occasion perfect!“
“A great downtown Toledo restaurant! Reasonable prices for top quality food and drinks, and desserts. Excellent service and very friendly staff. We had a party of 3 and were in the mood to “party/celebrate” .. had a wonderful time.So you may not spend as much as we did, but it was worth it.Vegetarian options: Several vegetarian dishes.Parking: On street parking at meters free after 6 nearby and paid parking garages as well.“
“We ate here this weekend and their food is always so good. I had a cheese burger and that cheddar was thick on top, not a skimpy slice of cheese and it melted over the sides of the burger. It was cooked perfect. I opted for chips this time, but think the tots are amazing and always cripsy not soggy and gross. Our service was a bit slow and they were not overly busy. She could have been the only one, not sure. She was nice and attentive when she was at out table so maybe just busy. Definitely will be back.“
“I visited for breakfast with my boyfriend and his dad. I had such a lovely time, their menu is nice and reasonable, has a family oriented environment, very caring staff. I wish they had an option for fruits instead of canned fruits for breakfast. Other than that, the serving size was good, and the breakfast was delicious. Parking is very decent for a small neighborhood. Both of us found parking very easily.. It was very fun for a Subday morning after church..“
“I came here with my son, daughter, and fiance the other day....There was 1 cook and 1 server, and they did an AMAZING JOB at greeting us, taking our order, and making our food fresh and delicious:) they did what restaurants even with 5 cooks and 6 servers couldn't do..... I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU TRY THIS PLACE!!!!! Chili cheese fries and their coney dogs are both on point:)“
“Good Food and plenty of parking/seating. Out side seating is shaded if you come after noon. Very nice people. The biscuits and gravy is one of a kind. Fast service. Good old fashion American cafe with a twist of international specialties like baklava.Parking: Room for a Tractor Trailer to park alongside trees in the back. No Overnight Parking“
“Anytime a server is willing to accommodate for my wild toddler is a 5 star in my book. Our server went above and beyond to entertain my son, and he was all smiles thansk to her! Food is typical dinner food, but it's the atmosphere that makes it amazing“
“A Night of Royalty at the Peacock Cafe**As a Detroit native, stepping onto the stage of the renowned Peacock Cafe in Toledo was a dream come true. From the moment I arrived, I was treated like royalty by every member of the staff – from the owner to the curator, the host, and even the bartender. The atmosphere of the Peacock Cafe was electric, buzzing with excitement and anticipation. As I took the stage, I felt a rush of adrenaline unlike any other performance. The audience was receptive and engaged, hanging onto every word and note I delivered. The owner's hospitality was exceptional, ensuring that every detail of my experience was perfect. The curator's attention to detail in selecting performers truly showcased their dedication to providing top-tier entertainment. The host's warmth and energy set the stage for an unforgettable evening, while the bartender's skill in crafting cocktails added an extra layer of sophistication to the experience.Performing at the Peacock Cafe was not just a gig – it was a transformative experience. The support and appreciation shown by the staff and audience alike left an indelible mark on me as an artist. I cannot wait for the opportunity to return to this esteemed venue and once again bask in its regal ambiance.“
“Definitely one of the nicer restaurants in Toledo. They have a good sized bar and a good amount of tables. The service is good and the waitress are friendly. Great burger and grilled chicken sandwich They have to remember that they are a restaurant so please keep the music below 75 decibels.“
“My first time at a Waffle House! It was pretty busy around 10am on a Saturday. Our waitress was nice but the food took a very long time to come out. There were many people working too. The food was actually really good! And the prices aren’t terrible. I would definitely come back, although only during the day on like a weekday when it is not so busy. The only bad thing was a guy sitting near us who literally had his entire buttcrack hanging out the entire time…that definitely spoiled my appetite ? not sure how people can have so little self-awareness and/or not care! Lmao“
“Stopped in for breakfast last weekend. I had the usual fair, over easy eggs, sausage, potatoes and toast. Everything was made to perfection. Unfortunately, I didn't notice the Mexican food while I was looking at the menu. They have eggs and chorizo, huevos rancheros, migas, etc. The guys sitting behind me ordered the eggs and chorizo and couldn't stop talking about how great it was. I had to spin around and take a look. I asked them if they come to the place very often and they affirmed they're there every Saturday. The food is great, it's clean, reasonable, staff is friendly, and service was really quick. Can't wait to go back!“
“We went to Sodbusters on a Wednesday evening (7:30) to hear The Chefs of Dixieland, Ragtime Rick Grafing's band. We expected it to be good music, but it was more. It was an experience, not a performance. We were totally immersed. We felt absolutely transported into another era. At one point, the trombonist sauntered through the cafe as he played ---so fun. We only had drinks, and the prices were very reasonable. We had the feeling that a lot of the people there were regulars. We'd rather listen to live local music than go to a big concert. We will definitely do this again.“
“First time trying Mediterranean and this place did NOT disappoint. Excellent service and the food is divine. Run, don’t walk and try this place. Be sure to get an order of grape leaves wraps, delicious. And hubby said that the chicken noodle soup was the best he’s ever had.“
