“Hands down, my favorite restaurant ever. You just can't go wrong with a Big Boy, with tarter sauce on it, and a side of crispy fries. I have ordered the same thing every time since I was a kid. If I see a Big Boy while out doing things, I make it a point to stop in for a bite. They never disappoint. The service is always fast and friendly, and the prices are right!

“The Open Faced Prime Rib sandwich, was the best I have had since Red Wells closed their doors. The meat is so flavorful. My waitress Karley who was the sweetest thing, told me they slow roast the meat then slice it. We had the Hocus Pocus Marg flight. Sooo cute and so yummy. The place is gorgeous.“

“I had them drain the meat before putting it on the chili mac and it has greatly improved the taste. Before that I would spend a ton of time on the toilet. The same goes for their chili dogs. The buns are not soggy anymore. I have no idea why this just isn't a thing but I feel like a lot of your other customers would benefit if you would do this automatically.“

“A sweet waitress went way above and beyond her duty, My husband, I and our two friends went in to Waters Edge Restaurant, my husband and our friends ordered, I ask if they had milk shakes because I told her I’m having problems swallowing food down, the food won’t go down. She said so sorry we don’t have milk shakes so I just ordered a root beer to drink while everyone ate (it’s ok though) our sweet waitress whipped up milk with ice whip cream and made me a milk shake with whipped cream and chocolate sauce on top. Brought me a big cup. I said oh wow! I love you thank you!! She said it complementary. She made my day how thoughtful and sweet of her to care so much about another person’s problems and health issues. The food looked delicious my husband and our two friends said it was. Thank you! “Upon arriving, Tina greeted me arriving warmly and instructed me where to sit. Since I'd never been there before, Tina explained some about the menu and the establishment. The vanilla cream soda was tasty. I ordered the 1/3 lb burger and fries instead of chips. When the food arrived, I was visually disappointed for a moment because I didn't order a slider but the sandwich i got certainly was. The disappointment disappeared once I picked up the burger. For a small thing, it was definitely hefty. While it wasn't juicy, it was far from dry and well seasoned. The fries, which I'm told are cut up fresh and fried in house in tallow, were a little limp and a bit under seasoned.

Overall, the place was definitely worth the try and I'd probably go back if I'm in town again.“

“I'm in the search of the best Reuben. So far Joy's has an edge other places I've eaten at since visiting Monroe. The meat thickness was good, the sauerkraut has good placement being in the middle and I love it when the sauce is on the side so you can add as little or as much as you want. All in all I would say they have the best so far.“

“Always consistent food and service. I ordered through Uber Eats today and the menu did not allow me to leave notes, such as no mayo, sub hash browns, etc. I do not know why this is. It could be how Bob Evan's set it up or Uber Eats. I called the restaurant and they did allow me to make modifications but the associate seemed less than enthused to do so and did not offer any explanation . I still love the food!“

“Danny and Ruben are phenomenal! Awesome customer service, my food is always right and tastes great, friendly and always makes sure I have everything needed like plastic ware, napkins and condiments. They also always make sure the food is plated correctly for no spills or mess. I get my breakfast and sometimes lunch at the drive thru.
