However, to my surprise, it was a Half Pound Ribeye cooked to perfection and topped with garlic butter. This steak was better cooked than some steaks I've had at a steakhouse! They had a deck of cards, and they spread it out into a fan shape and told us to pick one. We both got 1 pint of chilli absolutely free. I hope this is something they do every year. Their food is amazing. Root beer comes in tall glasses with handle on them that's stored in a freezer. You get cold pop without worrying that ice is going to water it down. You pull into a bay and sit in your car to eat. They have trays that attach to driver side window. Definitely worth going. Can't wait for them to open back up come spring.“

“We are visiting from South Florida and we absolutely loved Grace’s Kitchen!! We were looking forward to coming here since Sunday and boy was it worth the wait!!! I was between the cinnamon brown sugar French toast/pancakes and the apple pie pancakes/French toast, so when I asked if they can combine both, Molly was super sweet and accommodated me. It was absolutely the best French toast we ever had!! So much so my husband and I shared it and I ordered a ham and cheese omelette (which was delish as well). My husband got Jimmy’s omelette, which he loved. We both loved our meals so much that we literally came back the next day for the same thing. We also got the homemade cinnamon marshmallows yesterday and roasted them over the campfire, absolutely delish!!! This is definitely our go to spot when we come back. “This is a very unique restaurant. The menu is very robust I don't know what to say other than the shrimp, oh my God the shrimp. The shrimp here were better than any seafood place that I can think of. I will come back here just to get the shrimp. Now that I am off of my shrimp boat I will say the nachos were quite tasty the Reuben was also very good. The carrot cake was alright. The restaurant itself is pretty nice however everybody is packed in there pretty good. Will be returning some day.“

“My husband and I stopped in this morning for breakfast and had a Great meal and amazing customer service. The dining room was close to full, the wait staff were running non stop, the kitchen staff were handing orders out the one right after the other. The staff maintain continued with smiles on their faces and made sure each customer was treated kindly. The food was the best . In a time when restaurants our struggling to keep staff and the level of professionalism is out the window, we so appreciated Brenda's employees. “Pete's garage has been a fixture in Monroe for some time. The food is good. The restaurant can get very busy on the weekend depending on what's going on in town. The staff is friendly and will take care of you, but plan on oh wait on the weekend because it's very popular. The atmosphere is different but good for families. The menu has many options, however, I feel it could use some newer dishes. Everyone will find something to eat on their menu. Overall, I highly recommend giving it a shot.“

I really like their perch because it is fresh, crispy and very light and flaky. The fried pickle spears with homemade ranch are delicious as well. Had scrambled eggs, bacon, hash browns and toast. Coffee was extra but worth it. And trust me, I am picky about my coffee. All of the staff very friendly. “Hammer's Grill ROCKS! I have never eaten inside, but I order takeout/delivery often, and Hammer's is by far the best when it comes to quality, portions, freshness, price, service, and everything else. It always looks like it would if I had made it myself (or better). My order has never been wrong, nor have I ever had anything missing. They give you the extras you need without having to ask, so don't worry if you forget to ask for jelly with the toast. You might find something you didn't even know you wanted. The takeout orders are packaged well, with care. And the food is SO much better than other home-town restaurants. I know there's more I can add that I'm forgetting. My only complaint is that they aren't open later in the day. Even though I don't usually eat earlier in the day, I will still be ordering from Hammer's, to eat later, often.“
