My waitress Karley who was the sweetest thing, told me they slow roast the meat then slice it. We had the Hocus Pocus Marg flight. Sooo cute and so yummy. The place is gorgeous.“

“Visited 8/18/26 and It has been about 15 years ago since I have been here. They use to have roasted garlic for the bread which I was excited but found that no longer do that. Please put that back in the menu! I had the bone in filet with butter bone maro crusted with parley potato's and French Onion soup! Shared shrimp cocktail. Had two Barrel aged Manhattans, house merlot with the steak and finished with a shared chocolate bag and an Elmer T Lee bourbon! I wanted to lick the bowls and plates! It was sooo good! I will not wait another 15 years before I return! Please consider bringing back the roasted garlic!“

“I had them drain the meat before putting it on the chili mac and it has greatly improved the taste. Before that I would spend a ton of time on the toilet. The same goes for their chili dogs. The buns are not soggy anymore. I have no idea why this just isn't a thing but I feel like a lot of your other customers would benefit if you would do this automatically.“

“Late Sunday lunch/early dinner with the family. We had poutine, ribeye, perch and lobster rolls. Everything was delicious and our server was kind and attentive. Fries and chips are Homemade with a seasoning id pay good money to have. The crumble apple and cherry pie would make a southerner blush its so good and the cookies .... yum!“

“Hands down, my favorite restaurant ever. You just can't go wrong with a Big Boy, with tarter sauce on it, and a side of crispy fries. I have ordered the same thing every time since I was a kid. If I see a Big Boy while out doing things, I make it a point to stop in for a bite. They never disappoint. The service is always fast and friendly, and the prices are right!

“A sweet waitress went way above and beyond her duty, My husband, I and our two friends went in to Waters Edge Restaurant, my husband and our friends ordered, I ask if they had milk shakes because I told her I’m having problems swallowing food down, the food won’t go down. She said so sorry we don’t have milk shakes so I just ordered a root beer to drink while everyone ate (it’s ok though) our sweet waitress whipped up milk with ice whip cream and made me a milk shake with whipped cream and chocolate sauce on top. Brought me a big cup. I said oh wow! I love you thank you!! She said it complementary. She made my day how thoughtful and sweet of her to care so much about another person’s problems and health issues. The food looked delicious my husband and our two friends said it was. Thank you! “I'm in the search of the best Reuben. So far Joy's has an edge other places I've eaten at since visiting Monroe. The meat thickness was good, the sauerkraut has good placement being in the middle and I love it when the sauce is on the side so you can add as little or as much as you want. All in all I would say they have the best so far.“

But when you have an older gentlemen come in that walks with a cane and wears a helmet and the waitress doesn’t even great him after she has greeted everyone else quickly???? He was waiting for help to get his food because he rightfully could use the help. Instead another patron helped him after him sitting there for probably 20 minutes with NO service. For that I left NO tip. Very disappointed. Everyone needs help at some point in their life“

“I got the Mushroom Swiss burger which was so good and they were able to substitute for an impossible Burger but there was a $3 upcharge they didn't tell me about. And the impossible Burger is not advertised anywhere on the menu I had to ask for it.“
