“We walked into the restaurant earlier, expecting to be seated at a table. However, due to the crowd and long wait time, we decided to take a seat at the bar instead. The bartender, Nick, was very attentive and knowledgeable about their menu items. He provided excellent service and wonderful cocktails!We will definitely return soon!“
“My sister and I went on their "last day" of the season, we both had a flyer that said we wad guaranteed to win something, be it food or T-shirt. They had a deck of cards, and they spread it out into a fan shape and told us to pick one. We both got 1 pint of chilli absolutely free. I hope this is something they do every year. Their food is amazing. Root beer comes in tall glasses with handle on them that's stored in a freezer. You get cold pop without worrying that ice is going to water it down. You pull into a bay and sit in your car to eat. They have trays that attach to driver side window. Definitely worth going. Can't wait for them to open back up come spring.“
“Nice and very clean little place that you can actually hear your conversation. I had the prime rib special of the day and he had the boasted chicken dinner. Both were excellent! Definitely did not leave hungry and had left overs to take home. Wait staff was very friendly. If you like home style, you must give them a try.“
“We went in on 4/7/24 my wife ordered half rack of ribs and I ordered Mac & cheese with chicken. After we order the waitress came back to let us know that they ran out of barbecue sauce for the ribs my wife was very disappointed. So after looking over the menu a second time she decided to order the combo platter appetizer. Waitress the game came back and said that my food may come out before my wife's food but you wanted to serve it for to me before it was dry. As they brought out my meal they also brought out my wife's half rack of ribs with the barbecue sauce on it she was very excited. 5 minutes later the combo platter came out manager and waitress said it would be comped and it was. I would have to say this manager and waitress made my wife's day. The only negative would be the Mac & cheese was watered down and for a four cheese mac I would have expanded more cheese or something. But the waitress ???“
“Third time dining here March 22, 2024. . I can say I recommend the Reuben and burgers, Boneless wings that I haa ad today I did not care for. Chili is ok, not the flavor combo I prefer, but ok. Wife’s fish and chips were good.Draft beer was cold and refreshing. Service very good.Atmosphere good.We’d go back. Lots of menu choices to try.“

“This place is awesome. I got the Bleu cheese burger. It was perfect lots of Bleu cheese, the tomatoes were perfectly ripe and the burger was cooked just like I like it. We will have to find a reason to come back to Monroe just to come here“
“First time going to Brass Monkey. Service was a little slow, but our waitress (Amber) was working alone and had many tables to attend to, she was still very pleasant. My boyfriend and I got the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich. Well cooked, loved the coleslaw and the fries weren't like anything I've ever had before. Definitely will be coming back.“

“Beer is ice cold, good atmosphere, random folks, good food and the grill is open late. Get hammered and still have time to order food to smash before bed. None of that having to settle for Taco Bell and explosive diarrhea in the morning. Major cool points there!“

“Haven't been to this coney in years! Visiting with my parents yesterday and they opted for a different breakfast place. We decided here. Breakfast was amazing. Best hashbrowns around. Think they may shred them? Not even a breakfast person and already thinking about breakfast next time I go to Michigan. The prices were great. Specials all around $5.99. Had scrambled eggs, bacon, hash browns and toast. Coffee was extra but worth it. And trust me, I am picky about my coffee. All of the staff very friendly. The restaurant was a little outdated but don't let it fool you...you could eat off the floor. Very clean. “This cute little diner was absolutely incredible. One of my new favorite spots. Their menu has tons of options and a bunch of different cuisine. My friends and I split the Greek nachos and they were incredible. I had the french toast club and it was so so yummy. Their dessert was fresh and had such huge portions. Our waitress was so sweet and attentive. My friends and I enjoyed it so much.“

Very sweet, quick, attentive. She had great recommendations and was so friendly. I wish I lived closer so I could come back here more often but I will definitely be back soon ! I got chorizo nachos, 2 draft beers, to go order of truffle fries for my wife, and the breakfast sliders with truffle fries for myself. $55 bucks before tip. Big serving sizes and super fair prices. I really can't express how beautiful the view of Lake Monroe is either. “I'm in the search of the best Reuben. So far Joy's has an edge other places I've eaten at since visiting Monroe. The meat thickness was good, the sauerkraut has good placement being in the middle and I love it when the sauce is on the side so you can add as little or as much as you want. All in all I would say they have the best so far.“
“We’ve recently moved to Monroe and friends who’ve lived there, recommended the R Diner. The variety of food is amazing. Breakfast all day, homemade biscuits and gravy, Mediterranean & Italian dishes, rice bowls, entree salads, wraps, senior dishes. Etc. We both got the Senior turkey and dressing. Large portions and great flavors. There are several choices for those that like more spicy food. The day we went it was super crowded but they were very organized and got people in and out with precision. It’s one of the most popular restaurants in Monroe and now we know why! We highly recommend the R Diner.“
