I got chorizo nachos, 2 draft beers, to go order of truffle fries for my wife, and the breakfast sliders with truffle fries for myself. $55 bucks before tip. Big serving sizes and super fair prices. I really can't express how beautiful the view of Lake Monroe is either. “Cheap gas, paper products, and pet supplies. The lines at the checkout are a nightmare, usually. I try not to go thru the self check out, but it's pretty much impossible to NOT. There are hardly any cashiers running the lanes. I try to avoid this place on the weekends and evenings.“

We just stopped on a road trip from Texas on our way to Bay City. “If you're searching for a great new breakfast spot, Public House in Monroe, Michigan might be the perfect place for you! My fiancee and I stopped by for breakfast while we were in town, and we had a wonderful experience. The restaurant is spacious, modern, and well-maintained. The staff were quick and friendly, and the food was some of the best breakfast I've had in a while.I ordered the Steak and Eggs, which I assumed would be a standard steak cooked on the stovetop with a side of eggs. However, to my surprise, it was a Half Pound Ribeye cooked to perfection and topped with garlic butter. This steak was better cooked than some steaks I've had at a steakhouse! The eggs and bacon on the side were cooked perfectly, and we also ordered the Grilled Cheese with fries on the side which was equally delicious.We're already looking forward to our next visit to Public House!“
