“We were in Wednesday night. The country omelette was amazing, love the rye toast (there are seeds in it) they gave plenty of gray on the omelette.Coffee was the best coffee I've had from a diner. Our purple haired waitress karol was absolutely phenomenal!!! Her personality is a 10/10 funny, pretty and knowledgeable about the menu. Overall she is a real gem of a person. We will be back, if not for the food definitely for karol!“

“Cannot recommend this place enough. WOW. Do yourself a favor and order the Ribeye, the Penne Pasta ala “no vodka” with chicken, the mushroom bisque soup, the Chipotle chicken bites with ranch. You will be so pleased. Excellent food, service, and atmosphere. One of our top dining experiences ever. Birdies is my new favorite restaurant. Worth every penny. We sat inside because of the weather but could still see outside to the views which were beautiful.“

“My husband and I saw a review of Sicily's, and wanted to try it. It did not disappoint! We got the deep dish, and an order of meatballs, for take-out. It was an hour drive to get home. I had a bite of it while it was cold, and it was super good! I put the rest of the piece in the air fryer, and it was amazing. The sauce is fresh tasting, and the crust was crispy on the bottom, and chewy in the middle. The cheese on the edge was slightly brown, and crisp, just the way I like it. This was absolutely the BEST pizza I've ever had, and I've had a lot in my almost 65 years! Meatballs? Another best ever! Tender and so much flavor, with a good amount of marinara, so that every last meatball has as much as you could want. It was DEFINITELY worth the trip, and well worth the money! I would be in so much trouble if I lived closer, but I would do it again in a heartbeat! And to top it off, the Chef/Manager was SO nice and friendly! We had a very nice chat with him about the sourdough, and the restaurant, and how much he loves what he does. And you can tell! I highly recommend trying this place, they are about 1 block off of the freeway, and easy to get to.“

My favorite part is the friends and family that keep this place busy and then everyone stays and eats at the provided sitting area. You will sit down with strangers and leave with new friends. “Tonight I attended a wedding at C & G and could not be more impressed, and also pissed at myself for not patronizing this welcoming restaurant sooner. I’m lactose intolerant and allergic to chicken. The staff was incredibly accommodating and gracious. This is not often a feeling I receive when bringing up food allergies. The food & drinks were so incredibly tasty and the views were unreal. The Train station, spires of St Anne’s and the Ambassador Bridge all in one shot. Turn to the left and you have the beautifully landscaped Roosevelt park to stroll through after enjoying the back porch. I’m so blown away, and so happy my friend finally got me here! Thank you for a dreamy night.“

“Summertime Fresh bar was a great experience. We ordered the soba tofu wrap and the garden veggie wrap. Both were very filling, fresh, and extremely delicious. We also tried the avocado toast which was one of the best I’ve had. I’m a volume eater, and believe me, I did not leave hungry. The owner, Curtis, was very gracious and took his time to answer all of our questions and give additional information. It was money well spent and I really look forward to a return trip!“

“Tried it for the first time and it was amazing! I got medium heat and to me it was the perfect ratio of spice and flavor. Fries were amazingly seasoned and the mac and cheese was very good. My mozzarella sticks were hot so they had a nice cheese pull. All my food reheated nice as well. My boyfriend got the Dave's hot trio and he says it was so good. Would definitely come back!“

“My family and I visited this cute ice cream shop a couple of weeks ago. The ice cream was delicious! I got scoops of the Russian Latte 🤤 The staff were also very nice and friendly. I’m not sure the man’s name but he came out just to ask if we would like the umbrella on the table down because we had a spot right where the sun was beaming down. Very nice place.“

“Went on a Saturday night because my partner heard they had live music. I thought it was weird that the live music was not advertised on website or social media. Musicians were fantastic, playing instrumental jazz versions of popular tunes. What I hadn't realized is that the musicians would be across the street from the restaurant. It looks like they have a bar setup in the music area but it was closed.
We both got a soft serve margarita and plant based tacos. Margarita was tasty, light on the booze. The tacos were INCREDIBLE, we are still talking about them days later. We did both feel that the serving size of 2 tacos seemed small for the price and small for a dinner since no side dish is included but the taste was spot on and we appreciate that the menu had several plant based options.“

What was even better was that this Black-owned shop delivered in good service and outstanding quality and great varieties of coffee and teas! I had the delicious salted caramel latte!! And the best part was LITERALLY THE BEST BREAKFAST SANDWICH I have ever had at a coffee shop!! I had the turkey and cheese deluxe sandwich with their house sauce and Swiss cheese! It amazed me of how fresh, soft, and lightly sweet the croissant bread was, and how delightfully flavorful the rest of the sandwich was!! I gotta go back!!“

“First time trying Frank’s. My wife looked up places to try for good walleye and it came up so figured, why not? A little frustrating trying to find it initially, but we’re glad we did! Food was excellent. My wife had the walleye and said that it was one of the best she’s had in a long time. I had the catfish and loved it. Breading wasn’t heavy so you could taste the fish and the hush puppies were devoured quickly they were that good. All in all highly recommend and we’ll be back!“
