“had the Sausage Gravy and Biscuits, Sausage Gravy was Average but the biscuits were from a can. When you can peel layers its from a can. you can do better than that. you could buy a flat of biscuits better than the canned version.“

We started with their bruschetta, four piece... very nice... and not just toast with olive oil and chopped tomatoes... try it. My better half had their Battered fish and chips... looked good and we'll presented. She didn't offer me a mouthful to try... so that speaks volumes. I opted for the Chicken Marsala... very well cooked... tender and we'll plated... sauce was tasty and plenty of it. Good sized portions and roughly $55 per each of us... that included a bottle of wine a beer and a whisky... a double shot. I'd go back... and if you haven't been, then go.“

“Eclectic decor in a super cool old building that was the first building in Downtown Toledo to be wired for electricity! Wow we sent our compliments to the chef, everything was absolutely delicious and perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. “Chef Erika Rapp never disappoints and every visit to this wonderful restaurant reaffirms it as my favorite place for our Anniversary dinner. I look forward to the coconut, chorizo and sweet potato steamed muscles that she has had on the fall menu consistently for the last 5 years. And being Gluten Free the care Chef Erika takes to offer many delicious options, means I can always find the perfect meal. Last night the fish dish was perfection, from the perfectly cooked cod, to the savory and slightly sweet delicata squash puree to the textural elements of the crisp broccolini and the crunch of the pomagranate and pepitas. And the dish paired wonderfully with a crisp Sauvignon Blanc. After enjoying a basket of gluten free pop-overs (another favorite treat) and appetizers I was stuffed, but the dish was too delicious to leave even one bite on the plate. Our server Miranda was fabulous. Attentive, friendly, knowledgeable and added so much to our dining experience. I highly reccommend.“

“Jefferson Express is a great place to eat breakfast it’s located in Toledo, Ohio. The food is very good, the service is great and the atmosphere is nice and friendly. My hat off to the cook. The owner’s and waitress are very friendly and welcoming. If you are ever in town. I do recommend to try it out, please don’t let the outside of the place stop you from going inside to get a great meal. Once you are on the inside you will forget about the outside because the food is delicious and you don’t want to miss out on a great meal.“

“Good first time visit. Service was excellent and the atmosphere was really nice inside and had more of a restaurant vibe instead of a Bar so that was really nice. French Dip had a really good flavor and the BBQ Bacon Cheese Burger was cooked perfectly and was still juicy even though i said well done. The bun on the bugets and french dip held together nicely. Ribs where really flavorful and tender pulled the rib meet off with a fork. Pretzel bites and the deep fried cheese chunks where surprisingly good as where the nachos. Only complaint is the chicken we got was very dry and salad had only lettuce in it but besides it was a really nice first visit. Almost forgot get the homemade chips over the fries they are really tasty.“

“We had a party of 16 today for our holiday lunch and everything was excellent! Everyone ate all of their food. The atmosphere was nice. The table was set up so we could easily converse with each other, and that can be difficult with a large party. I have always enjoyed the garbage salad and it did not disappoint. “All of the morning shift servers are awesome, even though I can't remember all of their names, Monica Kylie and Linda and the Cooks, Jake and Ian are also great. Have a lot of heart, smiles and enthusiasm. They put their customers first show them that they care and they try very hard to remember your names and who you are. I would give them 10 Stars if it was possible. Please come and see the staff in the morning Monday through Sunday they are great.“

“I had them drain the meat before putting it on the chili mac and it has greatly improved the taste. Before that I would spend a ton of time on the toilet. The same goes for their chili dogs. The buns are not soggy anymore. I have no idea why this just isn't a thing but I feel like a lot of your other customers would benefit if you would do this automatically.“

This chicken tastes just like the kind I used to get at a place that closed called, "Woody's Just Chicken." “I went on a Wednesday, they had music trivia, Name That Tune going. It was so much fun! The food was great! I had the Paddy Pattie and fries. The sandwich was grilled nicely, the burger patty was perfectly medium, and the fries were well seasoned and cooked just right. I will definitely be back!“

“Hands down, my favorite restaurant ever. You just can't go wrong with a Big Boy, with tarter sauce on it, and a side of crispy fries. I have ordered the same thing every time since I was a kid. If I see a Big Boy while out doing things, I make it a point to stop in for a bite. They never disappoint. The service is always fast and friendly, and the prices are right!
