“had the Sausage Gravy and Biscuits, Sausage Gravy was Average but the biscuits were from a can. When you can peel layers its from a can. you can do better than that. you could buy a flat of biscuits better than the canned version.“

We started with their bruschetta, four piece... very nice... and not just toast with olive oil and chopped tomatoes... try it. My better half had their Battered fish and chips... looked good and we'll presented. She didn't offer me a mouthful to try... so that speaks volumes. I opted for the Chicken Marsala... very well cooked... tender and we'll plated... sauce was tasty and plenty of it. Good sized portions and roughly $55 per each of us... that included a bottle of wine a beer and a whisky... a double shot. I'd go back... and if you haven't been, then go.“

“We had a birthday party here with about 30 people. Kim was so helpful and kind with the planning process. On the actually night, all our guests had delicious meals with fast service. Our waitresses were efficient and friendly the whole time. All the food is amazing. I've never had a bad meal here. This has become one of my favorite places to eat downtown. Go visit them, you won't be sorry! Fantastic food!“

“Jefferson Express is a great place to eat breakfast it’s located in Toledo, Ohio. The food is very good, the service is great and the atmosphere is nice and friendly. My hat off to the cook. The owner’s and waitress are very friendly and welcoming. If you are ever in town. I do recommend to try it out, please don’t let the outside of the place stop you from going inside to get a great meal. “Chef Erika Rapp never disappoints and every visit to this wonderful restaurant reaffirms it as my favorite place for our Anniversary dinner. I look forward to the coconut, chorizo and sweet potato steamed muscles that she has had on the fall menu consistently for the last 5 years. And being Gluten Free the care Chef Erika takes to offer many delicious options, means I can always find the perfect meal. Last night the fish dish was perfection, from the perfectly cooked cod, to the savory and slightly sweet delicata squash puree to the textural elements of the crisp broccolini and the crunch of the pomagranate and pepitas. And the dish paired wonderfully with a crisp Sauvignon Blanc. After enjoying a basket of gluten free pop-overs (another favorite treat) and appetizers I was stuffed, but the dish was too delicious to leave even one bite on the plate. Our server Miranda was fabulous. Attentive, friendly, knowledgeable and added so much to our dining experience. I highly reccommend.“

“Stopped in for lunch and sat at the outside bar. It is a nice setup, but the chairs are a bit uncomfortable for me, but were fine for my friend. I tried the Cameo pizza (pepperoni, sausage, green pepper, onion, and mushroom) and it was outstanding. All of the veggies were very fresh. My Friend had their stuffed shells and enjoyed it. It is served with a breadstick as well. Give the Village in a shot and you can't go wrong with a Cameo pizza (originated in Sandusky, oh).“

“Good first time visit. Service was excellent and the atmosphere was really nice inside and had more of a restaurant vibe instead of a Bar so that was really nice. French Dip had a really good flavor and the BBQ Bacon Cheese Burger was cooked perfectly and was still juicy even though i said well done. The bun on the bugets and french dip held together nicely. Ribs where really flavorful and tender pulled the rib meet off with a fork. Pretzel bites and the deep fried cheese chunks where surprisingly good as where the nachos. Only complaint is the chicken we got was very dry and salad had only lettuce in it but besides it was a really nice first visit. Almost forgot get the homemade chips over the fries they are really tasty.“

“Stopped in on our way to a water park and had breakfast. It is our granddaughters birthday celebration and the staff was very friendly super nice. “The only negative I can say is this place used to have a Veteran discount. When they received a new POS or point of sale system, they said they could not figure how to add it in again. That was a weak answer. I wish they were honest and would just say, “No, we are not extending the Vet discount any longer.” I don’t feel they have to do it, but the lying was an issue and kept me away for a while. Otherwise, top notch in all other aspects minus honesty. Been going here for years.“

“Visited 8/18/26 and It has been about 15 years ago since I have been here. They use to have roasted garlic for the bread which I was excited but found that no longer do that. Please put that back in the menu! I had the bone in filet with butter bone maro crusted with parley potato's and French Onion soup! Shared shrimp cocktail. Had two Barrel aged Manhattans, house merlot with the steak and finished with a shared chocolate bag and an Elmer T Lee bourbon! I wanted to lick the bowls and plates! It was sooo good! I will not wait another 15 years before I return! Please consider bringing back the roasted garlic!“
