Te'kēla is an Americanized Mexican restaurant with an upscale flare. The atmosphere is fun and great, with live music that is so so good. The food is always hot and flavorful, with great portions. The house chips are good and served with passable salsa. Specific meals mentioned include the Burris burrito, which can be hit or miss—one to-go order was 90% rice with trouble finding any shredded beef, though a son’s same Burrito had a lot of meat. Other dishes like pork sliders, veggie fajita salad bowl, veggie taco, and enchilada are nicely presented. Drinks, including margaritas, are worth it. Service is inconsistent: some servers are great, while others are not tentative to refilling drinks or checking on the table. Hostesses can be a bit rude or standoffish, but managers are really kind and super friendly. The space is nicely done, with rooms insulated from live music. Overall, it is a better experience than expected, a classic place to come back to.
