“We ate dinner there last night, service and everything was great as usual until I got home with our Burris burrito and I found out they it was 90% rice and had trouble finding any shredded beef , really disappointed with the lack of meat. I hope in the future when you get a to go order that doesn’t happen. My son had the same Burrito there and it had a lot of meat in it, so I don’t know why the to go order was a complete opposite?“

“The only unfortunate thing about my experience at this Taco Bell was that I did not get the names of the kind ladies that helped us. We had a mobile order that had customizations they could not accommodate so they asked what I would like instead. They were also just a fun crew. Bathrooms and restaurant was clean. “I'm on a mission to shout out about this restaurant. The prices are a little high in my opinion, but... (1) the food is worth it, and (2) I am spoiled by the prices in Detroit's Mexicantown, where there is a lot more competition for Mexican food. Mi novio, quien es de Jalisco, México, le gusta mucho la comida de El Tajín. So if Oscar says it's good food, I KNOW it's good, authentic Mexican food. The elote is TO. DIE. FOR In my humble opinion. If you want really great Mexican food in the Toledo area, I cannot recommend this place enough. Try street taco Thursdays ($2 street tacos) if you're skeptical, because at $2 a taco you can't lose. I think once you've experienced El Tajín's food you will become a believer.“

“I can't say enough great things about this restaurant. My wife and I have been to every Mexican cuisine restaurant around the MI/OH border in the Toledo vicinity. We have never had a bad meal. Always great, and as an added plus their margaritas are Best in Toledo. The staff is fantastic, and the food comes out hot and quick. We stopped in once again last night. “We ate at the Don Juan Mexican Bar & Grill - Maumee, 551 W Dussel Dr, Maumee, OH 43537 and had the best service I have had in a long time. Gina, our waitress, was very nice and offered to let me use her nail glue because my sandal broke. She helped me pick an amazing drink and made sure our party was happy with everything we got. It is nice to see people actually care about the people they are serving and not just the pay check they are getting. We will definitely be going back and hopefully Gina will be there with here bright smile!“

“This is a casual dining restaurant. I have no complaints on this visit. The food, the service, and the pricing we're just right. I arrived before the lunch crowd which is the way I like it. The restaurant was clean and the food was served piping hot without a long delay. Everything was flavorful including the agua horchata! The waitress was attentive without being bothersome. She deserved a good tip and she got it!

I returned today to see if everything was as good as I remembered, and it was!
Today I ordered the fajita quesadilla - lightly grilled tortilla, rice and guacamole salad - see attached image. The portions were generous and the flavor was OMG delish! Can't wait to bring some friends back and enjoy let's play again!“

“It was so crowded and loud mostly due to a large party I believe. The food wasn't great. They were definitely understaffed. We were seated right next to the door and it was freezing. Horrible experience. They seemed more interested in moving people out than taking care of the customers.“

“We were looking for a place to eat, and happened to drive past Palacio Maya Mexican Restaurant. We decided to try it, and we were not disappointed. The selection of food items for vegetarians was amazing with plenty of items to choose from. The staff were quick, efficient and friendly. We would definitely eat here again.

Vegetarian options: There are plenty of vegetarian items to choose from in a separate section of the menu. The beans do not have lard in them, which is also a plus.“

“It was some of the best Mexican food we have had in the bit. Everything was delicious 😋 all the way to the chips and salsa. We walked in and sat right down we order and the food came out in no time so so good. We will be going back to try other things. All the staff was friendly and just a nice atmosphere. Ended up here for roughly an hour and half and we’re the only table seated(4people), saw one person come in for a carry out order during this time. Ordering on time might definitely be the way to go. They never came back to refill our drinks and charged us for an avocado when we asked for the avocado on the side instead of inside our food. Outside of that very clean bathrooms were one of the cleanest we’ve been out so service is the only complaint we had.“

Six of us visited for lunch and we ordered from lunch menu. Everything taste so fresh and come with some side. Super reasonable price $8 is a steal for that much of food. Clean environment, tidy restaurant, colorful seating and nice bar indeed. If I’m in this area then definitely returning .
Only issue I found no soup in the restroom and no towel in the holder.“
