“This place is amazing the food and also the service. My family often dines out as a group and we happen to take my son‘s 16th birthday to this location. We had a party of 15 and the service was the best we have ever had as a group. All of the food came out at the same time nobody ever wanted a drink because they were always full, and the food was absolutely amazing! Everyone was completely satisfied, most importantly, my 16-year-old son! Thank you so much for providing such amazing service and food. I highly recommend and we will definitely be back.“

“I stopped on my way home from an arduous day. One of those mentally and physically exhausting days. I stopped to get supper. A chipper voice chimed through the speaker, took my order, and lifted my spirits a little bit. I was greeted by a young lady at the window with a pleasant smile. She didn't look grumpy or unhappy like I was an interruption. Her pleasant smile brought me out of my funk just a little and made my evening better. I stop at Taco Bell because it is my comfort food. I always feel better with cinnamon twists and a Mountain Dew to chase down a bean burrito. This time it was the attitude of the service that made my day better. Working the counter or the window can be tough, so Thank you to the lady in the window for your smile.“

(1) the food is worth it, and (2) I am spoiled by the prices in Detroit's Mexicantown, where there is a lot more competition for Mexican food. Mi novio, quien es de Jalisco, México, le gusta mucho la comida de El Tajín. So if Oscar says it's good food, I KNOW it's good, authentic Mexican food. The elote is TO. DIE. FOR In my humble opinion. If you want really great Mexican food in the Toledo area, I cannot recommend this place enough. Try street taco Thursdays ($2 street tacos) if you're skeptical, because at $2 a taco you can't lose. I think once you've experienced El Tajín's food you will become a believer.“

“Stopped here before a NYE party to pick up corn tortillas. I have celiac disease so needed to be sure what I was getting was gluten free. The woman behind the counter was really helpful. The corn tortillas and corn chips were excellent. I didn't have any reaction so oth were definitely gluten free. I also picked up some pico de gallo and salsa verde. Those were delicious as well! Highly recommend.“

“We ate dinner there last night, service and everything was great as usual until I got home with our Burris burrito and I found out they it was 90% rice and had trouble finding any shredded beef , really disappointed with the lack of meat. I hope in the future when you get a to go order that doesn’t happen. My son had the same Burrito there and it had a lot of meat in it, so I don’t know why the to go order was a complete opposite?“

You have to come get them as soon as they post... cuz they go Quick! (And I see Why! 😍) Melanie was my waitress. She's very attentive, helpful & sweet. 🤗 Chips & Salsa 🥰🤌 I ordered the lunch special for $10 and of course the mango juice. You get 2 enchiladas, with beans & rice. “Yummy carne asada torta. Meat had good flavor. Always appreciate when restaurants grill the torta bread. Also, I’m picky about my toppings, they got my order correct and was quick service. Cute little place. I at first showed up at one of the chain San Marcos and thought about just going in but I’m glad I made the effort to go here.“

“We were looking for a place to eat, and happened to drive past Palacio Maya Mexican Restaurant. We decided to try it, and we were not disappointed. The selection of food items for vegetarians was amazing with plenty of items to choose from. The staff were quick, efficient and friendly. We would definitely eat here again.

Vegetarian options: There are plenty of vegetarian items to choose from in a separate section of the menu. The beans do not have lard in them, which is also a plus.“

Free Hot tortilla chips, special menu items such as seafood chimichanga’s, and fried ice cream. The coca-cola taste’s great here, and with a special meal to accompany your beverage of choice, you feel like you are in a beautiful resort in the Mayan peninsula. “The food was delicious and queso and quac doesn’t cost extra like chipotle which was nice and I got extra everything besides meat and there was no up charge. More price friendly and choice of shrimp if you like seafood I got the shrimp and steak which was really good!! They are a little slower but they are all new trying to learn so it’s understandable!!“

Unfortunately the wait/ service wasn’t great, we had to wave the waitress down after waiting for 15 mins to order than waiting another 20-ish minutes after asking to get our checks. Ended up here for roughly an hour and half and we’re the only table seated(4people), saw one person come in for a carry out order during this time. Ordering on time might definitely be the way to go. They never came back to refill our drinks and charged us for an avocado when we asked for the avocado on the side instead of inside our food. Outside of that very clean bathrooms were one of the cleanest we’ve been out so service is the only complaint we had.“

“This place is by far, the BEST taco truck in all of Toledo. The quality is superb, the selection of meats is great, and the prices are beyond reasonable. Six of us visited for lunch and we ordered from lunch menu. Everything taste so fresh and come with some side. Super reasonable price $8 is a steal for that much of food. Clean environment, tidy restaurant, colorful seating and nice bar indeed. If I’m in this area then definitely returning .
Only issue I found no soup in the restroom and no towel in the holder.“

We had a mobile order that had customizations they could not accommodate so they asked what I would like instead. They were also just a fun crew. Bathrooms and restaurant was clean. “Food is good staff was friendly. In the winter there soups are great. Chicken wings are fried crispy they were good. Green salsa is great spicy. Nachos are mad as individual nachos love that the supers are very good. I had a chunky beef enchilada it was very good.“
