“This is a hidden gem. It's not your usual same-as-everywhere-else Mexican. They make a lot of their dishes and sauces from scratch. The staff we met were family of the owner and were clearly proud of their place.The facility is just an average dinner-style eatery. Just ordinary. But the food and service were wonderful.“
“We decided to give this restaurant a try on our way from Toledo to Michigan and it turned out to be a delicious surprise. Loved the staff, everyone was so friendly and helpful. The food was delicious as well and the portions were very large. The margarita that I chose was strawberry flavored but I wouldn't recommend it as it wasn't anything special. Everything else tasted amazing. We ordered the chicken salad and there was something in the chicken seasoning that made it taste very good. We also ordered fajitas and I was impressed with the amount of food and veggies it came with. And we only ordered a single order! The quality of the meat was okay though. I've had better. Also, I wish they added cheese to it because it would make it taste even better. Will absolutely return.“
“I get Quesadillas every time I come to the mall and they're always hot, fresh, and delicious! I crave them and will come up to the mall just to order some. My boyfriend and I went there just yesterday and it was his first time. He loved it! Its important to support family owned businesses in this time. Taco bell might be cheaper but I'll take quality over quantity any day! Very sweet and attentive people working there. I look forward to my next Quesadilla!“
“Great Mexican food, I’m a truck driver and I travel a lot and it’s hard to find authentic Mexican food out here, I’m from the border so I’m used to the real Mexican food and up north it changes but here at nena’s taqueria it was as if I was home, great food I definitely come and buy more burritos here ???“
“Come hungry! The portions are big & the food was delicious. Hubby had a wet burrito that could have fed a family of four - lol. My crispy tacos shells were made the same way their tortilla chips (served warm with salsa upon arrival) were made making both amazing.The prices are fantastic!Bella was on her game juggling both bar patrons and our table efficiently.Oh yeah the AC was cranking on the 90+ degree day.“
