“After living in Japan for 6 years, trust me when I say Chef and his team has it done right. I had the "Omakase" (aka tasting menu). The tasting was 2 hours long in duration, the food tasted great, the designed dishes (food) was very creative, plating was beautiful and service was awesome too. Worth every dollar of the $125 pricing. I left on a full stomach and hope to go again before leaving Toledo. I highly recommend it. Please enjoy.”

Everyone's food was spectacular and service was excellent, especially considering how busy they were.Very nice wine list with some interesting old world wines, all reasonably priced. Nice cocktails and desserts.Menu has something for everyone. The lobster roll was delicious.”

“Delicious food, and Whiskey selection at a very reasonable price. I had the Italian Beef, Chicago style, gardinera with Au jus. It was excellent. We also tried the chili and charred broccoli. Both were really tasty! A double pour of very good bourbon will run you $20. Well worth a visit!”
“This bakery did not disappoint! My fiancé told me great things about this place but I needed to see for myself. I live in another state but needed to order my soon to be hubby the perfect bday cake! From the time they answered the phone the experience was amazing. They made the cake exactly as the picture but the flavor and moisture of the cake was even more amazing. The whole taco is great but what really sets them apart is they give u lemons instead of limes. That really just changes it up and actually makes me CHOOSE to go out of my way and go here instead of San Marcos right by my house. Oh, yeah, today I forgot to order birria to dip in, definitely try their birria consume, it's 1000x worth it.”

Blarney’sPub was recommended so I called in October and spoke to Bill Kline and explained our situation, and even though you don't usually take reservations on Saturdays, especially during Walleye games Bill said he would “ be honored to”.Apparently the night before arrival there was a gas leak in the building and Bill took the time to notify me promising to keep me apprised and followed up personally calling me two times with messages going from it looks promising to the eventual green light.The food was great, our server was a champ, and the ambiance was first-rate as all sixteen of us enjoyed a most memorable night in Downtown Toledo thanks to Bill, his staff, and Blarney's dedication to hiring obviously the BEST PEOPLE.My Dad, Barney would have loved being there.The O’Connell Family will be back!Thank you, Bill Kline!”

“I love Coopers Hawk! My girlfriends and I go there probably 3-4 times a month. We have always had great food and service. Lately we have been sitting at the bar and let’s just say the service is not what you get at a table. Took 3 hrs for them to remove dirty dishes from the people that sat there before us. We had to move it out of our way so they could serve us. But the bartender didn’t take the dirty plates, even after bring us out new food!The manager came behind the bar smiled and walked right past the dirty plates pile as well ?. I have bartended and served the majority of my life and I couldn’t believe it. We have been back since then and it seems like the bartender’s are torn between getting server drink orders and taking care of the guests sitting at the bar. 2 bartenders taking care of the servers orders and we had to keep flagging someone down to get a drink and food, silverware. I am hopeful new training or procedures for the bar area will fix this one issue. Otherwise I love this place!”

My family has been in the craft alcohol industry for more then 30 years! Out of California and let me tell you Toledo Spirts is a Gem! Great cocktails & they make some excellent spirits themselves! The atmosphere is nice with the diversity of different kinds of music every time I'm there! Service is fast and very consistent yet not over overbearing which is nice some places the service is just to much. Tonight's date night dinner was at Georgios which, if you're not familiar with the city, is a hidden gem. A family owned and run restaurant with a long running history, this place hit all the feels. Great classy intimate atmosphere without feeling stiff or stuffy, phenomenal food selection and preparation thanks to their talented chef and kitchen staff, and the service is above and beyond. Did I mention the valet parking as well? I mean... seriously! All the qualities of fine dining with a reputable reputation without high city prices. Don't get me wrong, don't expect to pay $20 for a plate! But be aware that you're getting a quality sumptuous dinner that's worth the price tag associated with it. I had the specialty trout topped with lump crab and he had the grass fed veal chop. Would definitely recommend giving this lovely place a try and we will most certainly be repeat patrons ❤️”

I would most likely try something different next time. So all, in all it was good and they accommodated all of us. Recommend for sure.”

“It has been awhile since I've been to a waffle house, about a year, and almost 2 years for this location. The eggs and hash browns were great. But the waffles have changed. They are the same diameter, but only half as thick. They have small indents (instead of the large ones). They are not crispy (almost like a pancake).I drove about an hour and a half to come here (I live north of Detroit). I will have to try a different location to see if they changed the waffle also”
“I visited their food truck at the Toledo Craftsman Guild's Craft Show. Ordered a tostada and nachos. The food was amazing! Not only was it delicious, but they were very generous on the servings. My nachos was so well loaded, not one chip was without a topping. Please give them a try, I highly recommend them.”

They recently remodeled and updated their drive through menus.In the past, it's been hit or miss with the freshness of food. But I've been really surprised with my last few visits! Fresh fries. I think they've finally got a solid team and it's allowing them to keep the line flowing smoothly.I'm tentatively giving this location 5 stars because of how much they've improved their game in recent months. “Went with a few people on a Saturday evening for dinner. The food was awesome. Tried the bruschetta, Pierogies for appetizers. Was really good. I had the fried chicken sandwich. I have to say it was probably one of the best chicken sandwiches I’ve ever eaten. I had a Manhattan and it was on point. Very good. It was really crowded. I guess that’s a testament to how good it is. The service was good considering how busy it was. I would recommend to try this place out.Parking: There’s a parking lot on the premises. Seems to be plenty of parking. And seems secure.”

The custard they offered between Reese’s. And Peppermint chocolate, and something else lol idk. Small side of slaw. Wife got a sandwich and fry’s with cheese. Totaled $60 kinda pricy food better be good. ? thumbs up in my book. Hefty helping of seasoned fry’s with enough pep it made my nose run. Burger had something missing it was ok, but not the best.. o forgot to mention they brought the flurry type custard shake while we waited. That was cool. Wife noticed a sauce bar wish I would have seen that first would have changed my choice in seasoning. Either way. Do I feel I got my moneys worth? Yea me and wife can both agree to we left full. “I'm giving this place 5 stars because it's the only gay bar that Toledo has left. The food is pretty good. Basic bar food, pizza, and salad. The service is usually friendly and pretty prompt. The interior is a mix of industrial modern with a hint of Taco Bell barstool thrown in. They have amateur nights and drag shows on the weekends. I always feel safe. If you want to treat your bartender to a shot they allow it here. I could do without the frequent customer vaping though.”

Don't get me wrong, don't expect to pay $20 for a plate! But be aware that you're getting a quality sumptuous dinner that's worth the price tag associated with it. They have plates and napkins which assist with eating the pizza in the car.It is important to note **THIS IS NOT A DINE IN RESTAURANT. **The Pepperoni Delight was phenomenal. We got sausage and onions for our additional two toppings. We added banana peppers on one half for some extra zing. The Pepperoni was perfectly crispy. The Italian Sausage was unique and sliced similar to the pepperoni. This also helped give it some texture. Some may not like the grease, however paired with an ice cold Pepsi, it was perfect.Not shown in the post is a BBQ Chicken pizza. This was equally as delicious as the pepperoni delight and I'd definitely order it again. The chicken and bacon played very nicely as savory components. The pineapple and barbecue were on the sweet side. The red onions were a great addition as well. If you're like me and don't like pineapple on pizza, this pizza would be just as good without it.The red sauce is some of the best I've ever had from a pizza restaurant. They're not shy with their toppings which makes for a very hearty meal. My only true critique has to do with the crust. The taste of the dough is the perfect balance of sweet and savory. However Mama Mary's pizza crust doesn't quite crisp up like I'd prefer. Even when it is fully cooked, the structure of the slice is definitely on the floppy side.Other than that, I have zero complaints. I cannot wait to try other items on their menu. “I had the most unusual experience. I've never actually had a situation like this before. It was something almost out of a movie, a romcom I'd imagine. I guess that made me John Cusack or Jack Black?My friends made a reservation and had the screen shot of it as proof even, but when we got there they didn't have our reservation or even know about it. They made it right by seating the four of us promptly at the MAIN table, a table for 8-10 people. It was very nice to have the extra space and a bit more light.The atmosphere is very quaint, almost like a speak easy. Lots of wood, a large bar for a small area, and very simply decorated. It can get a little loud in there, but that might just have been the table of ladies in the corner that wanted to be heard by the politician sitting with his wife across the room.We ordered appetizers, stuffed mushrooms and the beef tips. Both came out in a reasonable amount of time. The beef tips were amazing, tender and the "gravey" was thin and almost felt healthy. The mushrooms were ok. The stuffing in them had an obvious vegetable presence, corn and something else, something leafy. Not too much flavor maybe, very light as well. The issue was, on maybe my third or fourth mushroom, all of which I cut in half, I had what I thought was an under-cooked leafy vegetable. I couldn't rip it apart in my mouth, but I started to flatten it out, unroll it on my tongue. Growing as I unraveled it, I had to pull it out of my mouth, because part of it started to go down my throat. To my party's shock, as I pulled it out, I probably looked like I was a bad clown entertainer. It seemed bigger in my mouth, no jokes please, but it turned out to be a sheet of plastic! Balled up, clear plastic, like you would find shrink wrapped around a quart of mushrooms at the store. I don't think I swallowed any, at least not in that mushroom. I'd eaten enough, and they were good, so I ate the last one, very cautiously, probing like, and cut up, even after my discovery. Clean plate club I admit. We told the waitress, so that they could troubleshoot to make sure no other customers would have the same issue.We proceeded with dinner. My apple salad was good, different then what I have had elsewhere, not better, not worse, unique. I liked it. My salmon was great! Just not enough. The best part was the vegetables that came with it. Brussel sprouts and a mixture of a couple additional vegetables. If there was any problem with my main course, it would have just been the, maybe 3 oz piece of salmon. Everything tasted great. I had a local micro brew beer, and my friend had a couple over priced cocktails, our wives had wine.The chef/owner? Is a very nice and polite man. He came out and apologized in person for the plastic wrap. He also said that he comped our appetizers and my drinks. Everyone was so nice about the situation I felt bad when I actually had brought a Foody Card for a bit off my bill. I didn't feel bad when I saw that my wife and I still had a large bill though. I didn't know the price and portions going into the restaurant, that was my bad. I definitely didn't expect to find a surprise in my appetizer, that was their bad. The place is nice and we had great food, sans my surprise ingredient. It just seemed not right, spending that much after getting so much discounted and then having to go home and eat some frozen pizza slices because I was still hungry. I'd suggest more salmon on the PL8, or at least a lot more of those tasty vegetables.I'll probably go again, because the food WAS great. I just hope this was an odd, one-off occurrence, and that there is no sequel to my romcom movie.”

The chill vibe, cool basement location and delicious beer offerings made our experience memorable. In this visit we also ordered food (food menu is shared between Toledo Spirits and Heavy Beer Co). We absolutely loved the Hot Beef sandwich and ended up ordering 4 of them. We also loved the Spicy Pickle flatbread. The smoked chicken flatbread was good and the Queso Nachos were odd (not sure if it was intentional but all items on the nachos were cold- including the vegan cheese sauce so it made them off putting, we did not discuss with the server but I’m confident if we had she would have taken care of any issues). I wish I remembered to take photos of the beer menu and flights. Everything was great, we will be back and we recommend Heavy Beer Co to others!”

“We've been here numerous times both when we lived here five years ago and recently from this move here. This is such a cool neighborhood bar with great food, cold dry is, your favorite sporting event on and people who come time and time again. They made some updates to this place since the last time we lived here and they now have gold simulators! I went and checked it out and saw families playing, groups of friend and couples playing together. Such a cool and different concept to add but it was packed! We came here for happy hour and had an early dinner. The menu hasn't. Hanged much but they did have an extensive lent menu which I thought was great. I ordered the Reuben since it's that time of year and the flavor was amazing! I do love that they still offer free popcorn to the tables while you wait for your food. Just a great place all around and awesome service every time.”

“My wife and decided to try this place during restaurant week because we had never been here before. It was the same night as a Walleye game, but we were able to find nearby inexpensive parking in a garage about a block away. At the time of this review they had only been open a few weeks, and we had a great overall experience. The food came out piping hot and was top notch, and our service was very good. We thought it might be a great place to stop by in the future for a bite at the bar before a game or another date night. We will be back.”
“I absolutely LOVE the sweet & sour chicken here! I am addicted to the s&s sauce. It's thee best I have ever had!The only complaint I have is the egg rolls. When the restaurant first opened the egg rolls were to die for, not so much any more. They changed them a few years ago and they are smaller now and don't taste as good. I still gave 5 stars because the S&S chicken is that good!Parking: Parking lot is a bit small/narrow but it usually isn't an issue since they no longer offer dine-in. Most of the time when picking up an order you can get a spot right by the door.”
“We did the hibachi dinner. Was fun like those usually are. Food was good. I had the steak/chicken/shrimp mix. Portions were generous. Kind of unusual in my experience but they gave you both rice and soba noodles. You also can have soup and salad with the meal. Salad is the usual type for these places with dressing I personally don't care for wish you could get a more typical American dressing. Soup was ok but the hibachi was of course the star of the show. I'd go back given the opportunity. Though the place is in a plaza with Chick-fil-A for me and that means kind of tough driving thru the Parking lot sometimes.”

He thought it was a bit too sweet but I loved it! We placed our order and waited one hour! The supervisor came out and told us that the steaks was not cooked to his standards, apologized and paid for our meal for the night! We were so thrilled! Although they were pretty busy and the customers in front of us were pretty rude to the workers, The two young ladies (Aubrey and Mackenzie i believe they said when i asked) working held their composure and stress perfectly! I got one Regular size sub and the food was amazing and not rushed at all for how busy they were and was still very fresh and hot! The custard they offered between Reese’s. And Peppermint chocolate, and something else lol idk. Small side of slaw. Wife got a sandwich and fry’s with cheese. Totaled $60 kinda pricy food better be good. ? thumbs up in my book. Hefty helping of seasoned fry’s with enough pep it made my nose run.
