“Absolutely the most delicious steaks in town. Also the best prices in town. J. Alexanders comes second to this place. The only complaint I have is that we arrived with two couples and the music was so loud, they refused to stay so my girlfriend and I ate alone. It is true that the music is far too loud to the point that you cannot hear yourself speak to your date. You have to shout. I don['t know if the owner is aware of this as I don't see him there all the time.“

“The guys at the Port of Toledo recommend this little place with a drive through and a walk up window that was directly on my route to the port. The gentleman who waited on me said their rib sammich was "fall off the bone" tender.....he told the truth. The onion rings were the bomb as well as the deep fried mushrooms. YUM.....!!!!“

“Brittney was an absolute rockstar all evening. From the moment we sat down, she was attentive, friendly, and on top of everything without ever feeling rushed or overbearing. Drinks were always full, food came out exactly right, and she kept the energy positive the entire night. “Chicken wings were hot and freshly made, and so were the French fries -she put in when you arrive, so you have them extra fresh and crispy.
Fridays and Saturdays open late til midnight!!

“With the Sylvania bridge being out we’ve unfortunately been avoiding Monroe Street like the plague if possible.
Tonight we went to Shorty’s, a tried a true favorite. Our server Hannah was PHENOMENAL!! She refilled drinks without us asking, had a great attitude & was attentive without being too much. One of the better servers I recall having in a very longtime.“
