“Stopped in and picked up some carry out and wow, we were impressed! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The pulled pork nachos were awesome, meat was super flavorful and tender. Fried pickles were awesome and the serving size was very generous. Big winner of our dinner was the sweet potato soufflé. Amazing… we’ll get this every time! Great place! We’ll be back soon!“

“I ordered catering from Satchels twice in the past month. Fabulous both times. Loved the pulled chicken and brisket. Mac and cheese and potato salad were great. Baked beans are the best I've ever had. Coleslaw was chunky and healthy. Can't wait for another reason to order.“

A "real", in my opinion BBQ place, you even smell the smoke from the wood smoker walking up. I went to the one on North Maple and by far the best lunch I've had all summer!!!“

Meat quality is amazing. I am also a fan of the Korean bbq AYCE place, but this place does a better job on meat quality. Combo is a great deal (it’s like buy 3 get 1 free), skewers are also delicious. Very glad to have this place in town.

They are short of staff tho. I saw two employees serving the whole store, so don’t put expectation high on that

I’m also a bit disappointed to see bibimbap, barley tea, and most namul items being no longer available (yes I visited this restaurant when they firstly opened).

But I still recommend to visit!“

“Solid bbq joint right in downtown Ann Arbor. Everything we got was delicious - the smoked wings were fall-off-the-bone, and the brisket and pulled pork were like butter. The sauces are what really set Slows apart - the apple sauce was my favorite, like apple jam mixed in with a savory bbq sauce. Paired incredibly with the pulled pork (everything else, too). I’d absolutely come back, looking forward to the next time I’m in that state up north!“

“My son and I had dinner here on a Monday night and it was the first time for either of us. The restaurant had more carryout orders than dine in customers. The menu was large and expansive and I decided to go with something I had heard of before, Loco Moco.

We both thought the food was delicious and well made. The carryout dishes I got for my husband were happily received by him.“

“The restaurant itself is beautiful. We have been to the downtown Detroit location and decided to give the Ann Arbor location a try. We were not disappointed! We went for our anniversary and our waiter Ivan made our night out so special! He was very attentive, engaging and genuinely pleasant! The food is amazing, the variety of meats that are offered is great, and there are so many interesting dishes within the salad buffet.
