“A great place!! I went there 30 years ago. It was wild. I used to go to Henry J's, and friend suggested going to Frankies. It was insane. There was always something going on wherever you were at at the place, even out back in the parking lot & they had an area outside where you could drink & relax. My Sister & friends wanted me to go see the Smashing Pumpkins... I said no...It's probably just some unknown band that was never going to make it. Boy, I was wrong. 🎃“

“Visiting our daughter who attends the University of Toledo ; this spot is directly across Secor Road, where we usually stay at a hotel. We had a blast ! The staff is friendly, and the drinks were great. We did not have any food, so no comments on that. Friday night guitar music was nice and we went back Saturday to watch tOSU football and bonus SINGO (musical bingo) event. It was fun! Same friendly staff, casual atmosphere… will definitely make this a regular visit when in Toledo!“

The staff consistently impresses with their friendliness and efficiency, and the bar itself is usually clean and well-maintained. It’s important to note that Triple Crown does not have a kitchen or serve full meals. “Eclectic decor in a super cool old building that was the first building in Downtown Toledo to be wired for electricity! Wow we sent our compliments to the chef, everything was absolutely delicious and perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. They have won awards for their original cocktails and the bartender did not disappoint. Excellent waitress who deserved every penny of her tip. We will be back!“

Love playing pool with who ever and I always leave laughing and smiling! The owner is always there and I see him making laps and helping the bartenders out by getting drinks for people as-well. “For a dive bar, this is a lovely little place with standard drinks, a lot of good local options with alcohol coming from local breweries and local distilleries. The service there is outstanding and the mix of people is a little bit eclectic and changing day by day. I will definitely be coming back again. The drinks are inexpensive and delicious.
