Based on the reviews, Shawn's Irish Tavern - Sylvania offers good food, including chicken chunks that are lightly battered, and phenomenal Italian ciabatta and pizza. The food is very good for bar food, and the peach was very good. The place is family friendly during the day, complete with high chairs. The service is attentive and super kind, with a server who was on top of everything. There are lots of TVs for watching football. The main drawback is the noise level, as the place is on the louder side and extremely loud, making it hard to carry on conversation. The decor is not great, it is worn, and the tables were sticky with lots of brewery signs. Overall, it is not a bad place to eat, and many would come back.
