“5⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ One great thing about this place besides the great food, staff, and service compared to ANY OTHER RESTAURANT in town is these people understand what their posted hours truly mean. . If the post theyre open 7am to 3pm and I walk in this place at2:59pm I get to sit down and eat! I've NEVER EVER heard them say,"well the kitchen is already closed and we close at 3pm. Try that at any other restaurant in town and see what happens“

“We had a birthday party here with about 30 people. Kim was so helpful and kind with the planning process. On the actually night, all our guests had delicious meals with fast service. Our waitresses were efficient and friendly the whole time. All the food is amazing. I've never had a bad meal here. This has become one of my favorite places to eat downtown. Go visit them, you won't be sorry! Fantastic food!“

“With the Sylvania bridge being out we’ve unfortunately been avoiding Monroe Street like the plague if possible.
Tonight we went to Shorty’s, a tried a true favorite. Our server Hannah was PHENOMENAL!! She refilled drinks without us asking, had a great attitude & was attentive without being too much. One of the better servers I recall having in a very longtime.“

“Homemade type food.. really nice owner...my favorite are pancakes breakfast sanwiches and the coffee is great. Now listen...donuts are made there...too good. Avocado smoothie is good...onion rings are GREAT...soup mage there...Really what a gem.“

“Oh my goodness. Received my Door Dash delivery and planned to just take a nibble and eat meal bit later. However one bite and I was hooked - game over. I had the lake perch, piece of catfish, spaghetti and okra. Everything was awesome - fish and okra fried to perfection, not too much breading and spaghetti very flavorful and full of meat - could be a meal in itself. I have been meaning to check this place out for some time. Now that I have I can't wait until my next time.“

“Hands down, my favorite restaurant ever. You just can't go wrong with a Big Boy, with tarter sauce on it, and a side of crispy fries. I have ordered the same thing every time since I was a kid. If I see a Big Boy while out doing things, I make it a point to stop in for a bite. They never disappoint. The service is always fast and friendly, and the prices are right!

“I used to manage a dine in restaurant, so I understand how frustrating it can be when the last-minute customers show up. They only add minimal overall sales while lowering your sales/hour and hurt your labor since you have to keep your staff there and paid which cost more than the profit gained usually..... so I am very happy that when my 80yo grandmother wanted 4 quarts of Dairy Queen ice cream because all the others upset her stomach at the last half hour that not only did she get it but the staff was friendly and you would never have known they were just ready to go home after a long shift. “I order weekly from them from Door Dash. This week the order was wrong. I got a chicken schwarma sandwhich, fries, and diet coke. I recieved a beef schwarma sandwhich, fries, and no drink. I called them and the lady was very friendly. She was very apologetic and no questions asked made it correct.

The food are large portions and the prices are cheaper than other meditteranean places in the area. The food is tastes great. Customer services is a 10/10.

I marked 4 for Atmosphere because there isn't really a ton of room to sit and eat. It's more for take out.“

“went in at around 2am. haven’t come here in years bc the service had been so bad and food went downhill and was EXTREMELY pleasantly surprised tonight. Our server Lori was absolutely incredible. so so so friendly and welcoming especially for working the late shift. We ordered a good amount of food just for the two of us and that came out very very quickly as well, and the cook actually brought some of it out to us and was just as pleasant to talk to. we were shocked at how nice they both were. it’s so rare now to find friendly people in the service industry, especially late a night, so this was a very very great late night run.“
