“I’ve gone here on a handful of occasions both morning and afternoon and let me say. Monroe street diner is it. The number 4 is what I’ve had for breakfast, 3 eggs, 2 meat toast and home fries. Everything was cooked beautifully. The cheese was scrambled on the eggs and the home fries weren’t too mushy. On other occasions I’ve gone in the afternoon and had the smash burger and it kept the same standard as breakfast. The atmosphere is very diner generic but is easy to look past with the talkative waitresses. Overall i very good experience and would absolutely recommend“

“Great place . I go at least 4 times a week.. love the loaded fries.. but so far everything has been too notch.. staff is friendly and polite.. I recommend this kitchen and the loaded fries.. ?.. y'all know me from across the street.. the loaded fries guy???“

“We enjoyed this quaint little diner quite a bit. The food was excellent and huge portions. The server was very attentive. Great location also. Toledo should develop this part of town more right along the river.

The booths were wider than most places which made them comfortable but the amount of duct tape used to hold them together means they really should recovered.

We will be returning when in town.“

“We supported them during Covid and better food than fast food . Friendly and the owners are great it’s great to walk in and they know your name and know what you drink and know what you are going to order and no complains here. Will continue to go to our favorite restaurant ❤️“
