“It was so warm and friendly when we came in, the servers were very friendly and helpful when we said it was our first time there. Sitting at the back bar, you get a great view of the cooks making your ramen. The food was amazing, I got Shoyu ramen and my partner got the Bacon Ramen and both were delicious. They portions are large and I ate my fill and had left overs to take home for later. Will be adding them to the rotation of restaurants when we go to Toledo for dinner.“

“This place has been reviewed favorably by local papers. They agree with me, a fan from the start. Once you enter, this restaurant has all you need for a great Japanese dining experience. And the cheesecake (tempura style) has to be tried--it's quite awesome!“

“Seriously the best service, incredibly quick while still making delicious food and the staff is beyond friendly! We frequently go in to get white rice for the kiddo before speech and the staff is always beyond sweet to him and always friendly and helpful! Plus the prices are great for the portions so definitely a must try 🥰“

“My husband and I are regulars at Tougen! We absolutely love the food, especially the sushi! The owner John is always all about his customers! This is a hidden gem that more people need to know about!!“

“I love this place for their sauces they serve with their Hibachi meals. Other places I've been, have this Yum Yum sauce which is okay but it's got absolutely NOTHING on Sakura's sauces. Definitely Chef's kiss! I also LOVE their salad dressing! Not sure if it's known that you can actually BUY it from them in small containers 😉.“

“My husband and I went here for dinner. We asked our waitress for recommendations between two different rolls, dynamite (fried roll) and the koreana. She said they both were good choices, so we got both. They were definitely great selections. The size and taste for the price was amazing! We will be going back soon.“

“My lobster rolls were super yummy! I also had help from a very knowledgeable young lady working there who helped with the variety of beverages they have. Bonus is that I had a $9 reward and didn’t even know it until checkout lol.“

“My favorite (local) Japanese restaurant as they have thee best spring rolls (wish you could buy 3 for $5) and I always get their sweet potato rolls...which is very fulfilling and my food is always hot, fresh & ready to go.
I always request extra ginger for my rolls and they always oblige.😊“
