I order from this location just about every week for lunch and I can’t say I’ll be stopping. The food is always so hot, flavorful, and filling!
Food was good; however I feel this was overpriced. I placed the order online and picked it up myself. I ordered the ox tail chicken combo with macaroni and cheese and rice and peas and it was $40! And as you can see from the photo, the portion size is much smaller than I was expecting.
Customer service was good and did not have to wait long.

The Original Jamaican Spice est. 2011 is a restaurant known for its authentic and flavorful Jamaican cuisine. Located inside a gas station, it offers a wide variety of options, especially for vegans and vegetarians. The jerk chicken, in particular, is a standout, praised for its spiciness and tender, juicy meat.
Customers have highlighted the excellent service, with one reviewer describing a "beautiful Jamaican Sister" named Novelyn who provided gracious service. The menu features a range of popular Jamaican dishes, including the delicious catfish, goat, and oxtails, which have been praised for their flavors and tenderness.
While the portions are generous, some customers have noted that the oxtails had more fat than desired, and the red snapper had many bones. The restaurant's hours may also not be accurate, as one customer found it closed during the listed opening time.
Overall, The Original Jamaican Spice est. 2011 provides a delicious and unique dining experience, with a focus on authentic Jamaican flavors and a welcoming atmosphere.
