We thought we'd give it a shot on our way through Sylvania this time instead of going to Bob Evans. It has fancy decor but the food lacks a bit of finesse. Buyer Beware: Came through a couple months ago and had a fantastically memorable sandwich . On a recent stop I decided to try Chandler's again. The Rueben immediately caught my eye so I ordered it. While the sandwich was good, it was NOT a Rueben. What I got was a corned beef sandwich on a marble rye with creamy cole slaw. Read past the name so expectations are not dashed.
The riverside rueben was really good, but really expensive for what it was. Chips and guac were grocery store prepackaged quality for 5 bucks, pretty crazy. Pretty good all around, but for the sake of my wallet I'm probably not coming back.
