Disappointing....server ordered the wrong pizza. We ordered the J&G special which has sausage, green peppers and onions. We got one with mushrooms and pepperoni. There was hardly any sauce and way too much cheese. The pizza was undercooked, to the point there was a pool of moisture at the center. The ovens must not get hot enough. Not sure we will be going back.

I’m new to Sylvania and I always stick with what I know and I always do the same thing over and over and I decided to venture out and try something new because it was recommended to me today and I was definitely not disappointed. Neither was my baby.(16 month old) So delicious I got the hummus platter, a small pickle and cheese pizza and a medium bacon, green pepper and mushroom pizza!!! So so so good!!!! My baby literally devoured the pizza and her pita bread and hummus!! The crust is different. It’s super crispy on the bottom super crunchy crust, but fluffy middle. Truly spectacular! Thank you j & g

They finally bought the next door building and expanded since I last visited. Kinda weird you have to go to the other building now to be seated. The food was good as always I was hoping the crust might have been improved a bit but it's the same cracker crust, amazing toppings though, the cheese is always great there.

Service was a bit slow, but that was also when there was a huge summer storm and our house's power went out. Otherwise, I had a great time there and really enjoyed the atmosphere and chatting with the other customers.

This was one of the worst pies I’ve ever had. No joke, I’ve had many frozen pizzas better than this and for 5% of the wait. I waited 90 minutes for this pie. There was no sauce on the pie. The crust was doughy for a thin style, which I actually asked for “well done” to ensure crispiness. The cheese was extra salty. There was no redeeming quality to this pizza. I gave it away after two slices it was so bad. The people working behind the counter had no idea what they were doing and continuously left the ovens open as they couldn’t figure out what pie was ready. They also handled the pizzas with their bare hands, which I’m pretty sure is a Food and Safety violation. Overall, it makes sense that the locals would appreciate this since they have absolutely no reference to what is actually a quality pizza place. I’m certainly glad I don’t live here. Score: 1.2 out of 10 - garbage.

We sat down with my wife, and a few minutes later, the server came to our table. She was nice and friendly. However, once she left our table, we waited and kept waiting. So, we just got up and left. The restaurant was not very busy.

My family has been going to J & G for their pizza since we were teenagers. I have to say the one thing about J & G is they are consistent. Their cheesy cheesy, pizza is perfectly seasoned and cut into little squares was just as delicious today as we shared with our children …as it was when we were kids! I haven’t been to J & G for over 20 years so I really enjoyed the upgrades. It’s very modernized, larger and very well decorated. Staff was friendly and helpful. Our waitress was so friendly and welcoming, and made sure that we had everything we needed. My trip from San Antonio will always include a trip to J & G’s pizza!! ?
