Pizza oven was temporarily down 😭so we tried a couple different items .( I know, right! my knees buckled 😂) My order standard always starts with the Greek salad and it was amazing as always, that block of feta 💯!! I hadn't had their Gyro for years and it was ridiculous (in a good way) our table also ordered a Dallas smash burger , I was crazy big and delicious. Smash burger fans can be a strange breed, aficionados per se or even fanatical , personally I just love a great tasting burger. I wouldn't call this a smash burger because the patties weren't crispy on the edges or flat enough but, as a regular burger-Nailed it! Give it a try

Like the name implies, they're a good old fashioned pizza parlor. The pizza only comes in thin crust but is utterly fantastic. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is because the good part is also the bad part. They make great pizza (and other things) the old-fashioned way so their capacity is limited. I've called and had wait times for pizza of an hour or an hour and a half. They're worth the wait for dine in or carry out, but plan ahead! Edit 7/19/2015. Called to order and they told me the kitchen was closed (at least for pizza, thats what I asked about) for 4 or 5 weeks. Hopefully the wait time will go down. Glad to see a local business doing well!

I can’t remember what we ordered, but I can tell you that it was tasty. It’s different than what we have back home and definitely better than your typical chain pizza. We would definitely order from here again if we’re in the area!

First time at J&G Pizza Palace in Sylvania, Ohio, and we were so impressed! You can really tell everything about their pizza is made in-house – fresh, flavorful, and delicious. The hummus was honestly some of the best we’ve ever had.
Our waitress was amazing – very informative and kind, made us feel so welcome. And the lady at the entrance was such a sweetheart, greeting us with a smile as soon as we walked in. The entire atmosphere felt warm and family-oriented.
We heard their gyros are great too, so we’ll definitely be back to try them next time. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for good food, great service, and a cozy vibe. 🍕🫓❤️

The employee was rude, obnoxious and embarrassing for absolutely no no reason whatsoever! My husband and I drove in from Detroit for pizza. We walked in the restaurant around 8:30, 9:00. A rude extremely overweight man was standing at the register counting money, he turned looked at my husband and I, yelled at us in front of a restaurant full of people seated at tables and eating that they closed at 11 and to hurry up sit down and to figure out what we wanted and get our order placed in 15 minutes . I asked if we could sit and eat, had he said no I would have ordered it to go considering there was well over an hour till closing. He looked at me and responded just hurry up,sit down and get your order put in. Never lifted his head from the register. Everyone in the restaurant was looking at us. My husband started to walk in and I told him no! I’m not paying to be treated in such a bad way. I wanted to cry he embarrassed me so badly. As we were getting in our car another couple were walking in to eat. I have to wonder if they received the same greeting as we did? Never but ever again. There was another man standing behind the counter, my husband made eye contact with him and he just simply shook his head.

J&G's has always been our favorite pizza place. We just shared it with all of our grandbabies on our 27th Wedding Anniversary 6/29. We never walk away disappointed or hungrey.

Great local pizza place! Went for the first time but we will go again. Loved the decor inside the restaurant. Made me think of pizza places when I was young. We had a 1/2 mushroom 1/2 pepperoni pizza that was good. Arrived quickly and was piping hot. Different kind of crust than I’m used to but very good. We also got an order of garlic cheese bread which was on the small size to share but again delicious and loaded with cheese and lastly our favorite, the fried pepperoni appetizer! Seems simple but they were exceptional! Dusted with Parmesan and accompanied by three different dipping sauces with the feta dip being the best. Service was excellent. Friendly and attentive wait staff and everyone wished us a pleasant evening and thanks for coming as we left. Wish I would have known about this place sooner.

Disappointing....server ordered the wrong pizza. We ordered the J&G special which has sausage, green peppers and onions. We got one with mushrooms and pepperoni. There was hardly any sauce and way too much cheese. The pizza was undercooked, to the point there was a pool of moisture at the center. The ovens must not get hot enough. Not sure we will be going back.
I’m new to Sylvania and I always stick with what I know and I always do the same thing over and over and I decided to venture out and try something new because it was recommended to me today and I was definitely not disappointed. Neither was my baby.(16 month old) So delicious I got the hummus platter, a small pickle and cheese pizza and a medium bacon, green pepper and mushroom pizza!!! So so so good!!!! My baby literally devoured the pizza and her pita bread and hummus!! The crust is different. It’s super crispy on the bottom super crunchy crust, but fluffy middle. Truly spectacular! Thank you j & g
