I wanted to like this place. But after leaving, I felt a little hoodwinked. The food was okay. Nothing that really stood above diner dishes. Perch was a poor value. Two small pieces for nearly $17. They did not tell me that toppings on cheesecake was additional. And a service charge to use my debit. I’m not comfortable returning.

My husband ,son and I love coming here. The food is excellent and the baklava is made in-house and the best ever. The waitresses are wonderful and very accommodating.we always have a pleasant experience here at Sylvania Diner.

Whatever you order is going to be cooked within an inch of its life, courtesy of Chef Torch. It's still better than average, but just barely. The service is much better than average, with a wait staff who know what they're doing. The atmosphere could be better, but it's generally reasonably quiet with adult customers. I'd recommend the Sylvania Diner to anyone.

The food was absolute trash, you came have the best service and atmosphere in the world but if your food sucks that much, it's irrelevant. Overcooked, dry, nasty. Fries, fish, burgers, it was all awful.
Super friendly service even though we were part of a group of nearly 20 that walked in within a few minutes of each other. Good food and decent prices.

The food was great and well proportioned. But the restaurant needs someone to love it a little more. The ceiling fan was falling with mold around it. Most of the fluorescent lights has a bulb flickering and the bathroom needed to be cleaned well.
