Aloha Kine Grindz Reviews
Holy crap this is some of the most flavorful food I’ve ever had in my entire life. My husband and I have come twice now, trying the Mochiko Chicken, Chicken Katsu, Honey Butter Chicken, and Hawaiian Style Korean Chicken, and we were taken to Flavortown with every single dish. I literally feel like I’ve been transported to another dimension. Not to mention the woman who runs the window is a literal angel sent from heaven. Everything on the menu is delicious. Nice job!!
I’ve been here several times and being born and raised in Hawaii I can say that this restaurant is 100% authentic (real local Hawaiian food!). I’ve “talked story” with the owner and she is very easy going and friendly. It’s always great to hear the words “hi aunty”. In Hawaii it’s a sign of respect to address someone older as aunty or uncle even if you’re not biologically related. The whole overall experience is top notch!

Aloha Kine Grindz is a delightful restaurant that serves food made with love and care. The menu offers a variety of delicious options, including the popular Loco Moco and Mac salad. Visitors often mention the great portions, saying one meal could feed three people, making it worth every penny. The staff is friendly and helpful, creating a welcoming atmosphere perfect for a quick lunch or a romantic dinner. The food is plentiful and flavorful, with dishes like BBQ sauce and spam fried rice. Many customers praise the freshness of the meals, including the katsu, spicy shrimp, and honey chicken, although some feel the honey chicken could use more flavor. The restaurant is known for its authentic Hawaiian food and often greets customers with "hi aunty," a sign of respect in Hawaii. The honey butter glazed chicken with garlic parm fries and the 2 meat furikake, mochiko chicken combo with spam fried rice come highly recommended.
