Adorable place but food missed the mark. Service was ok. Deviled eggs were actually just hard boiled eggs, unseasoned with a dollop of pimento cheese on top. Chickpea curry soup was tepid and bitter. Orzo salad was edible but underwhelming. $75 lunch (no alcohol) was not worth it. I was hoping to love it bc the place is adorable.

We had a party of 9 for my husband's birthday. They gave us a private room and the service was fantastic! Everyone said their food was delicious (Bistecca, Birch Burger, Eggplant Curry) I had the roasted chicken. The flavor was fantastic, but the chicken itself was dry.

We had a fantastic meal this weekend! The staff was very accommodating with a last minute reservation request for 7. The service, atmosphere and food was excellent. Our server, Colton was very knowledgeable and made great suggestions based on our questions on the both the food and drink menu. Food presentation was excellent and our server was sure to ask if everything was to our satisfaction. Highly recommend checking out this restaurant. Both indoor and outdoor seating options make this a great option for summer dining.

We had a fantastic experience at The Birch in Terrace Park. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with a cozy vibe that made for a relaxing evening.
Our server was exceptional—knowledgeable, attentive, and incredibly thoughtful. I have to watch my sodium intake due to a heart condition, and he went above and beyond to help us navigate the menu to find options that worked for me without sacrificing flavor. That level of care really stood out.
The food was excellent across the board. The standout for us were the stuffed peppers to start—absolutely amazing and I highly recommend! Everything was fresh, beautifully presented, and perfectly prepared. They also have great cocktails. Try the Anchorman, trust me.
We’ll definitely be back. The Birch is a true gem in Terrace Park.

Great experience, found it on a whim while in town. Lovely setting . Loved each small tapas plate we had. The whipped ricotta was a stand out. Service was great, not overbearing. Would highly recommend this establishment to anyone who wants a nice night out.

Stopped in Saturday for lunch and had an exceptional experience. Nice clean atmosphere. I sat at the bar but there were multiple tables of people sitting outside in a lovely courtyard. Server and GM both connected with me multiple times to check on how I was doing. Had a bowl of the soup of the day, which was delicious and could easily tell it was thoughtfully prepared. Then had the croque madame which was a very large plate. The turkey, being smoked, had a lot of flavor and paired well with the mornay sauce which it was covered in. I opted for the side of potatoes and got it with the ‘house sauce’ which was finger licking good. It was a very filling and large plate and I would definitely recommend. I’m excited to go back and currently unsure if I would try something different since the croque madam was so delicious…bowl of soup, sandwich and potatoes, and two glasses of wine was $50.

We were passing through town and happened upon this place. Went in intending to eat and discover it was so small, with no place to wait for a table. Just the bar, and as members of our party don’t drink, we didn’t stay. I would love to come back and try the food…the ambiance and overall presence or this place was beautiful. They were busy, so that’s a good sign!

Why isn’t anyone mentioning the most glaring easy-to-fix issues at The Birch: the sewer odor and the bird droppings at the front entrance? Is this not noticed by all of the others who have written reviews? The service and the food are good - but the sewer odor and bird droppings are deal killers for many.
Everything about this restaurant is great. The food is exceptional by far the best meal out I’ve had since moving to the USA.

We wanted to love this place but unfortunately won’t be returning. The food was sub par and not flavorful. The portions were ridiculously small and to avoid leaving hungry after ordering a full meal, we ordered bread just to fill us up. The bread was dry and not good. When I asked for balsamic vinegar and oil or something to dip it in, they said “we just don’t do that and we can’t even give you some extra olive oil.” So much for being accommodating and customer-centric. The ambiance was a bit sterile and very loud. Hard to hear one another speak. They did have some outdoor seating and a bonfire that looked fun but it didn’t have the heaters yet. Hope this feedback helps and sure hope you strive for improvement by listening to your patrons.

Soooooo good! We had the Cesar salad, burgers, spring chicken and focaccia. The quality and freshness of the food was outstanding. The service was friendly, knowledgeable and timely, plus they were very accommodating to our two young kids. We can’t wait to go back and try more items on the menu. Beautiful job on the rebuild!
