“The vibe was awesome. The food was even better. I sat up at the bar and chatted with the bartender and the owner. The owner is exactly what a business like this needs. Someone out there on the floor chatting with customers supporting his staff and making sure that all the needs are met and the customers happy.My expectations walking in we're low. I was wrong. I didn't think I would be back after the first visit. I'm already planning my next one. The item on the menu are a little bit more expensive but absolutely worth it.I would not be shocked to see this restaurant being featured on traveling social media content creators and food network TV shows. Great job! Can't wait to try more of the menu.”

“I came here for the lobster crab shrimp BLT and I thought I found the love of my life but not this time. I wish the filling of the seafood portion had more texture with pieces of meat. It puts me in mind of tuna salad. It’s a cold sandwich but the filling was ice cold. The French fries could use improvement as well. Overall the food wasn’t nasty but I wouldn’t order or recommend it. Over priced as well for what’s given. The restaurant is beautiful and I will definitely come back to try another dish. I sat at the bar and the young lady who took my order was very pleasant which is why I ate in.”

“Cincinnati hit the jackpot with Boosalis Baking! I used to jet off to Paris for work, trying every croissant spot there, thinking nothing could match up back home. But Boosalis proved me wrong in the best way!Their chocolate croissant (pain au chocolat) is the real deal. Seriously, it gives the famous spots in Paris a run for their money. And don't even get me started on their plain croissant—it's a close second to my favorite in Paris, Ble Sucre.Now, I can get my croissant fix without the long flight. Big thanks to the Boosalis team for bringing a slice of Paris to Cincinnati!”

“Best pizza in Cincinnati.We ordered margherita and hawaiian pizzas, and they were both perfect. Il Gusto pizza is ultra thin and crispy with high quality ingredients. The margherita especially was fantastic, and even my young children loved it.The greek salad was fresh with a house made dressing. We wished there were whole kalamata olives, but it was still delicious.”

There were 11 of us in our party and most of us had never been to C&J before (we live in Hyde Park and typically frequent the Precinct and Ruby’s locations). We loved our first experience at C&J. I believe Shannon was on our seating ticket but it was two young females and one l believe was in training. Please be sure they read this. I find myself unfortunately hard to please although I may rarely make it evident. I am a natural devils advocate, think you definitely get what you pay for, and expect much when an experience is glorified. I must say that my expectations were blown away and that I didn't realize that I had set the standard too low. You have done an injustice to all experiences after you because I doubt they can stand against the new found enlightenment of what excellence looks like.When these two ladies walked over to our table it was as if the rest of the room had to stop to appreciate the energy and perfection of service that seems to fall from ancient wisdom gathered through centuries or just an embodied gift bestowed to these two ladies. The Precinct must have some credit for selection and training in the hiring process but these ladies deserve to be recognized for their own skill navigating a seamless and natural experience that tops the list of fine dining. They put focus on my wife for her special day and made her feel important as it was all about her. This is much appreciated and exactly what we needed from the night. I could not change a thing to improve and would only hope another visit would be the same and with the same ladies handling our service. I fear the expectation was set and no one else will compare. We also received great recommendations even on the cooking of our steaks. It was the best beef I had ever tasted and I am no novice to good food. Thank you for the most amazing dining experience of our lives to date and thank you ladies both for being you. You are both truly amazing and may find it extremely difficult to ever fail in all your lives endeavors. Thank you so much!”

“There's nothing fancy about this restaurant -- but the food is fantastic and the service is great. We can't get enough of it and visit regularly, usually when we don't feel like cooking for ourselves. The food is richly flavored and consistently delightful. Most things are cooked with ghee rather than oil, which is more to our liking. Prices are reasonable, especially considering we frequently split each serving into multiple portions AND still go home with leftovers to enjoy the next day. I think we're a few visits away from being on a first-name basis with the staff/ownership; it's to really nice to see familiar faces every time we come in to dine. We can't recommend Shaan enough!Vegetarian options: We often only eat from the vegetarian selections of the menu, and we're always satisfied!Dietary restrictions: I can't eat anything made with Canola oil (aka Rapeseed Oil) -- there's none of this in any of their dishes as far as I am aware, though I've not asked about the kids' menu. I believe they have options to accommodate Vegan restrictions, but that's not been my concern.Parking: Right out front, lots of rows, plenty of spots.”

As a bonus, it's a quick walk to or from the local beer mecca, Madtree Brewing.Parking: Small lot directly outside the building with free parking.”
