“I stocked up for a week with items to keep my sweet tooth happy last weekend. I am in deep love with this place! The vanilla bean strawberry tart was hands down one of the most scrumptious pastries I’ve ever had. The pastry crust was divine. Cinnamon rolls are fantastic. Buttery and delicious and satisfying. Grabbed a cheesecake slice and once again delicious. I can’t say enough about how delightful these baked goods are. I’m waiting for them to open up today so I can stock up again for another week. This is my favorite obsession.“

“A great community bakery with a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. I love the Village Bakery and will always give them 5 stars. They have been a go-to breakfast place for years, as I have grown up in Athens. However, in the past couple of years they have changed the way they made their breakfast sandwiches. They used to be so good, definitely a favorite. Now the eggs are chewy and sad. I wish they would go back to their old recipe! But until then, I’ll just get the quiche which is also delicious!

Wheelchair accessibility: There is a handicap spot at the front of the building and the main floor is wheelchair accessible. However, there is more seating up a couple of stairs that are not accessible.“
